Sadly, Celina does not fit the blonde-haired blue-eyed rich kid the media loves to fawn over.
...the NY Times the LA Times and the BBC would have reporters at the Assistant AG's pressers, and their lawyers would already be working on forcing the AG's office to tell what they know.
I don't know that I agree. I know of other girls who weren't blonde, blue eyed, or rich but had parents who were relentless in getting the media attention. It is as if Selena'a family haven't made an effort to get the press coverage or because it is a small town it is not available to them as in other locations. jmo
Personally, I think the current state of the media is lazy. They don't go out to find a story. They let it come to them. Just listen to the daily news. Same story for a week. So many things are never reported because it would take a effort on their part. There are so few REAL investigative reporters today. They all cover the same story and nothing else. The media coverage helps us to stay informed but I'm not sure it puts a fire under LE or actually helps to sovle the case. moo
Sadly, it appears Selena's case might not be solved but look at Lauren Spierer's, Holly Bobo's, and Brittanee Drexel's (all blonde and either rich or upper middle class families). The media coverage hasn't seemed to help LE locate or solve their cases either. Money and media aren't helping any of them.
