DO we know for fact the body found is IN the water? And may still be?

Before the body was found, LE were searching for a missing person. I think now they have found her body, the case is a homicide. Time to luminol (?) the house, look for a weapon, DNA evidence, etc. Maybe the perp is telling LE what to look for......how she was killed.....

When they searched the pond by the house he did not have a meltdown, AFAIK.

But even if he seemed to know she was going to be found there, it does not mean he was the perp. He could have reason to believe his son was there and involved.

Yes I suppose and at this point we don't know. Have they even confirmed it is her,,did I miss that?

I am jaded and I know it...but I've had my POI/Suspect/Murderer since the day this story broke and I went looking for facebook accounts. I will be shocked if I am wrong.

Maybe they believe the crime scene is at the river.

I did too, and that was well before any of the past medical history was made public. In fact, that really didn't affect my feelings about it one way or another.

Just wondering if they have some type of equipment that LE may need to use to discover further evidence...if also in the river?

I've been here all day. Just being sad and quiet. I cannot think of any reason why they would need a helicopter or wold be waiting on a specific one. But I wonder if the body is weighed down by something heavy and they are trying to put something under her and bring all of it up at the same time together. In some of my forensics classes they have talked about how they try to send everything on and around the body to the ME's office when there is a crime scene so that the ME/LE can try to find additional evidence and can see exactly how the body was. No clue in the world and no inside info. Just a thought based on the helicopter. Seems odd to me, but closing off the whole road would give them a place to put her back down that is close. They wouldn't want to fly anywhere, really, with her if that is what they were doing. I really have no idea, so I am going to be quiet again now.

I think they would be able to ID her immediately. The body was not there that long, and in cold running water. I think they could see her body type, long and lanky, and her large front tooth, alongside a smaller baby tooth. I think that is all it would take. Of course they will DNA her to confirm. But it is a done deal in their minds I bet.

I just got back from job searching (ugh) and have read the last few posts. Seems nothing has changed since reports of a body? If you're up to it, can I please have a summary. Is there gonna be a presser?? Thank U so much! been following this from day one and it's such a disappointment :(

What if:
When LE was in the house before, for those 3 days, they bugged it...
and when the family was allowed back in, someone(s) talked?

Would they tape up the whole house/yard if they didn't think it was
where a crime took place?

The child did have very unique teeth. I don't think even a dentist would be necessary to ID her. Of course I am sure they would want to officially do it, but they should know whether the body is hers immediately.

They just said on WBZ radio...

"We are awaiting a news conference in New Hampshire after a girl's body was found in the river a week after she went missing. Will they announce an arrest in the case...."

http://player.radio.com/player/RadioPlayer.php?version=1.2.12150&station=92

I think he slipped up... because the others (even on that station) are still reporting that a female body was found near Celina's house...

They just removed the body from the River, per the Live Wire feed.
