Thanks letitbe and luckyme. I remember that case now. That is a really scary one. I remember thinking at the time how brazen the perp had to be. Honestly, I want it to be a stranger and not someone she knew. Either way it is horrible, but just for the sister and mom and dad. jmo

Yes! I agree! awful, but we dont know who did it yet!! When jessica lunsford went missing people blamed the grand father! It was the sex offender across the street!!!! I just cant see blaming step dad yet !! moo!

Oh, I will go back and read up on it. I thought they caught they guy using the underwear they found. Oh man, that's awful that he is still out there somewhere. And that couzy guy that killed little Jessica was not very bright but he still got in there with no one hearing him. If I recall he had been watching her. But I think that is what pedos do. They check out their prey wherever they go. So sick. jmo

Does anyone know when the toxicology results are scheduled to be back on Celina? I don't think she took drugs but I am wondering if she wasn't drugged by someone.

But in the case of Brianna, so tragic, she was in Reno, a much larger urban setting. Much greater chance that an RSO would be looking in windows for a victim, than in Celina's town.

Plus, I don't think she was visible to outside predators that evening. Was she? Was the couch visible to passersby?

Does anyone know if there are a lot of trucks that go up and down that road? That would be a perfect set up. The long haul trucks have beds in them and also would have blankets. I just wonder if there are lots of strangers that go through there. I don't think anyone like that would enter the house, but she could have been on the porch or something. I really hate to post this, but it is something that came to mind. just a thought.

Here's a link to a story where the NH medical examiner explains why it takes so long to get toxicology results back in NH.

http://www.wmur.com/news/19274782/detail.html

I guess I understand if they don't have their own lab and they have the sample go out of state. It just seems like I have seen celebrity toxicology samples come back quicker than 6 weeks. I don't know maybe I'm wrong about that?

My prayer is for Celina's family tonight and especially for her father with his heart condition. May they find who did this and quickly serve the strong arm of justice. RIP Celina.

Nice chatting. And thank you everyone for the information and links. :seeya:

I just hope whoever did it is caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law. I could not handle another FL fiasco that seems will never end. jmo

*ahem*

Just because someone is related to the victim, or is related to someone in the family, or is part of the family, or even has a criminal history themselves, DOES NOT make them a suspect and DOES NOT mean we sleuth them.

There is absolutely NO REASON to be digging up criminal records of family members. Especially those that have been mentioned only in passing, if at all.

Victim Friendly - Rules Etiquette & Information - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community
Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way and ONLY IF IT IS RELEVANT TO THE CASE.

Additionally, sleuthing family members that are not suspected of being involved in the crime or disappearance is not allowed. Don't make random accusations or post personal information (even if it is public) like parking tickets, address, or first and last names of all their relatives and their neighbors. Also, never "bash" or attack them, or accuse them of involvement. However that does not mean that family members cannot come into discussion as the facts and issues of the case are discussed.

Thank you wm. I am relatively new to this website and am learning what is and what is not allowed. I am glad there is control and that it is a victim friendly website. I really appreciate this website and the folks that contribute. We all need to remember "Innocent Until Proven Guilty"!! skier

I am pretty sure mine is caused by my internet provider. I have Road Runner thru Comcast and it truly sucks. I am thinking of going to Verizon fios. I hear it is great and they offer the same bundle I have now plus a home phone. I wouldn't think the advertisements would effect anything, but don't know for sure.

I'm not a big fan of ATT, however, since we got ATT Uverse, we have had pretty good service. Before that, we had Bellsouth (ATT) phone and DSL, and DirectTV. With Uverse, the TV and internet service is good, fast and reliable, and we pay a flat rate for phone, which is good as all of our family is long-distance. And we're saving $20 per month compared to what we were paying before for TV, internet and landline phone. That said, ATT cell phone service sucks from our house (per my husband's work-provided iPhone). My iPhone service is from Verizon and is excellent. I know this is totally OT, before the net nannies weigh in.

The little girl I mentioned last night, Heather Church...she was 13 and taken out of her bedroom window in a very rural area in Colorado by a stranger some years back...turned out to be a random killer but her parents were both suspected, especially her dad. Her case was on a "Forensic Files" last night. Her body was not found for two years. :(

Her house is on Route 3 which used to be the major road through the area. It's still a busy road. As far as trucks go, my guess is that there would be some logging trucks using that road and there could also be a fair number of regular semi's going up and down the road since a border crossing into Canada is very close up the road.
