Such a sad story, and close to where I live. My gut is telling me it wasn't an accident. And when I heard his name I looked him up on Facebook and immediately got a weird, creepy feeling when I saw the photo there (before I ever saw his mugshot). I'm sorry to the people here who knew him or had friends who knew him, and didn't think he would be capable of such a thing, but there are lots of criminals who seem perfectly normal and harmless and have secret lives and do bad things. MSNBC had an article up last night that they met through working at Target last summer? Maybe he had a thing for her, despite having a girlfriend, and she wasn't interested? Who knows.

Alleged murder occured at Mill Street Apartment. Officials continue to search off of Peirce Island.

Body left in water at Lookout Point near Peirce Island. Cannot answer most questions because search warrant and affidavit have been sealed by Judge.

Piscataqua River, in the area of Peirce Island, is really Portsmouth Harbor. And Peirce Island is pretty near to the open ocean. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is directly across the Harbor from Peirce Island.

As posted earlier, the "river" has some of the most treacherous currents and tides in the US. Recovery personnel, please be safe!

That I am not sure of, the point I was making is he must be singing like a canary because he is charged with strangulation as cause for second degree murder but yet no body.

A New Hampshire martial arts instructor was held without bail today, accused of strangling or suffocating college sophomore Elizabeth Marriott, whose body remains missing, and which authorities believe was dumped at sea.

I still think someone else, at least initially, was providing information. Peirce Island search began prior to arrest, according to what we know or has been reported. My opinion only.

I have 2 girls in this general age group and the rumors are that his girlfriend worked at Target, he worked at Best Buy. The friend Lizzie was going to see was his girlfriend, with whom he lives at Mill St. And that she is the one talking. My daughter has several friends who knew him through work or theatre and they all say the same thing---that he never gave a creepy vibe, seemed totally normal...

Again, teenage grapevine, so take it for what it is worth.
