Just got home from work. I am happy that they finally released Seth's name.

I know Seth pretty well. One of my friends is involved with a couple of the theaters that he was. I did some of their photography. The Art community in Dover/Seacoast is very close knit. When an artist was stricken with cancer we rallied behind his wife and held some fund raisers. Seth was very helpful and nice. I never saw this coming! He was quircky but most artist are in some way.

If you need to me to become verified I will do that. There is other information that I am aware of.

I want to say that I am not making ANY excuses for him! Accident or not Lizzie's life was cut short but most of all she was not allowed to be buried and was tossed like a bag of garbage. That makes me really really angry!

thank you for the local info littleone. when you say "she was not allowed to be buried" are you thinking that she will not be found?

Several comments under articles have said that Lizzie/remains of her/or evidence of her death (depends on the comments under various articles) was found in a dumpster near the apartments she was to be visiting friends in.

I'm guessing that's what LittleOne is referring to (or else from info she knows)?

LittleOne, I'm sure this is a shocking thing to find out someone you knew was involved in. I hadn't read your post here yet when I just posted a bit about what I recall when one of my close friends found out her ex had killed Danielle vanDam (someone had mentioned DW in the Jessica Ridgeway thread). This whole turn of events is very weird. I thought for sure it would involve just Dover, foul play or not...but Portsmouth and Durham, too? I am very curious about how her car got back to campus, her cell phone pinged in Dover, and something (who knows what yet) happened in Portsmouth. You can see Pierce Island from my mother's house.

I was talking to another friend who's child he taught and she is also in a state of shock. Seth always taught never ever be violent no matter what the situation was. He said never to use their art to harm but to defend. He gave a women rides home from practice and waited in the car for them to get in the door. He never came on to any of the women and was always professional. He loved kids....

I have known him for over 10 years and never imagined that I would read something like this....

The knowing something before you can say it is hard, too, isn't it?

Like I said earlier today when his name first came out, most of what I was finding didn't make sense/"fit" to me either. I'm very curious to hear more...if he 'snapped' or...?

At this point most of what I know is considered rumor. Knowing NH the true details will be hard to come by because LE always keeps most information private.

The reporting in this case is really bad.....probably the worst I have ever seen.

Local LE dropped the ball and it wasn't until the FBI stepped in that things started happening.

I heard several different things but most point towards an accident and he got scared. At this point I am not even sure if she left the campus alive. Some friends are going to try and see him tomorrow. I will keep you updated.

This case is just so puzzling. I can't imagine how, when he wasn't included in the evening's plans, they happened to run into each other before she even left campus, and how they could have been in a situation in which an accident could have occurred.

I hope they find her body soon. From the sound of it, he dumped her off Pierce Island. It must be so hard for the family to have her body missing.

I think it is possible that the car was driven back to UNH after the fact. My opinion only.

The car was a major focus initially in the search effort.
