Barth leave John Candy out of this mess. With your planes, trains and whatever comment!

  • #262
Barth pointing out that SM tried to join forces with a heroin addict to effect a grandiose escape plan probably isn't the best strategy. Just sayin'.

Another issue for them to consider... Kat's notion of an agreed-upon Plan A and B.

He refers to Kat's confusion on the stand... as the technique of a liar.

Barth references the letters Seth sent Kat from prison... he calls them fantastical ... and the jury has to decide whether they show his guilt, or his ongoing efforts to protect Kat.

For those that were asking about chat...here is a link...there is another thread that mods did but I cannot find it. Problem is...many don't have java. I myself have mIRC. You can get free trial. I'll log in if you want to test...but I may be AFK during lunch break. I'll try to stay logged in just so you can see it's the right place if you wanna test out. CHAT during trials is GREAT! if you see panini, it's the right place. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69168

oh! found the other thread for just going through the internet WITHOUT JAVA! Mibbit instructions are here! http://websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9560634

Try it out during lunch and just hang there in a separate window perhaps as I have errands during lunch and cannot chat. http://websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=9560634

which brings us full circle to "what are we having for lunch?"

If it is all true what Barth says about Kat and it was all her fault. Why didn't SM throw Kat under the bus and do the same thing Kat did and go for immunity and talk to the GJ.

I hope this made sense.

  • #269
to me this does not even seem ethical to go after someone else with no mention of your client...someone who has immunity ...something is just off here...and isn't his time up?????

He's getting down to it now -- this is really all he should be saying. Now I'll straighten-up and listen.

Here's the scenario....

He references her immunity, and why she might be giving the jury a misimpression of what happened ... "She has years of motivation, all the beautiful things life has to offer, she has fear, she has its all about Kat motivation."

Totally made sense... but it seems like Barth is basically saying that the blame for LM's death lies with KM and LM. No blame for SM.

Mr. Barth sometimes beggars can't be choosers. If you are in the slammer you are probably surrounded by people with similar, um, issues.
