The judge is explaining the schedule.. closings this a.m. from one side, lunch, the other side, break, and then the judge will give them instructions. He says it will likely run past 4:00 today. He's reminding all 16 of them that they can ask for a break at any time.

Closings are the arguments at the end of the case. Attorneys pull from the evidence, and make reasonable inferences and references to the law, and urge ultimate conclusions. But what they say is NOT evidence.

How many BDS&M's will we hear?

Any guess's?

Let's do a shot every time he takes his glasses off.

How long before he steps over the line and we hear an objection? Or will it be the prosecution that will step over the line?

Anyone think we will have a verdict this week?

I don't think it will come within hours of deliberations. Maybe long enough to debate how culpable seth is soooo between two and three days. (IMO kat had such dirty hands in this crime it is more messy.) And of course after lunch.

What is it with after a meal anyhow?

This is already very weak. Protect her own interest? She had immunity. Plus, she didn't do anything he didn't do, too, if it was an accident.

Barth talks about all the places they could find doubt, starting with Kat McDonough's four claims... four pillars he calls them, upon which her story is supported ... and says without any one, her story falls apart. The first...BARTH: she claims she was involved in an abusively controlling relationship…that went from a euphoric grooming process to suddenly off grid to something nefarious that literally transformed a confident independent young woman to a virtual slave…
