I still haven't gotten over my pork craving. I have a huge baloney sandwich waiting with my name written all over it. Not bologna no, no, no, pork baloney. Reminds me of Brooklyn...

ok back to kat the diabolical psychopath and a niffy bracelet designer.

I would be furious if I was on the jury, this is Seth's trial not Kat's. Barth has completely lost me at this stage, I have zoned out, I'm hearing the words but there not registering.

I was just thinking something along the same lines -- I didn't realize it was possible to be simultaneously bored out of my mind and totally furious.

Barth getting a lot of mileage out of "drunk mother at Christmas"

Barth is really trying to keep the jury's interest with the glasses on glasses off activity. I think if he could juggle pork loins to keep them awake I think he would.

OT: Oh I'll check those two out! I will pass on the Dark Towers because I saw how thin one book was and thought short story for novel prices. No thanks.

? are those horrors?

Another newish one - Joyland could be termed that (just under 300 pages) though it's sold under 'Hard Case Crime', but both the others are really good reading if not quite horror, limber up if you're reading hardcovers, they're very heavy. lol

Barth is also very heavy this morning, heavy on Kat, heavy on the spectacle movements...

I think proof of Kat's lies will be discovered.

good thought and i must say i have thought of it as well............

and i know it's not popular here.......but last night i relistened to the cross of the defense investigator and really noticed alot of what barth brought up when moving for a mistrial.....i think the prosecutor was walking a VERY fine line with his cross inferring to the dishonesty and role of the defense team and asking about the lawyer/client relationship and he didn't need to......he was winning so wth was that all about?

DON'T SPRAY INSECTICIDE PLEASE :truce:

don't get me wrong......i think barth lost this case in choosing to present a defense......but these things do make me worry :anguish:

oh, and the wedding is definitely still off

BARTH TO JURY: If she is willing to manipulate Seth, someone she loves… to get him to help her move out, create false impressions... you don’t think she wouldn’t lie to you? Manipulate you… to achieve the result she needs?
