The fourth pillar Barth refers to... is that Seth had crazy personas. He says Kat's premise is that, based on these dark personas... a pleasant evening could turn to an outright murder in a matter of minutes.

OT: Oh I'll check those two out! I will pass on the Dark Towers because I saw how thin one book was and thought short story for novel prices. No thanks.

? are those horrors?

11/22/1963 is probably my new favorite King novel.

I've been visiting Websleuths for five years and didn't know there WAS chat!

Yeppers, pretty quiet now and don't even log in lately. Were MANY during FCA/JA/Zimmerman trial. Do you have mIRC? There are two ways to get in...one through mIRC and one through your browser. There is a thread at WS with directions. Usually, you will know if you are in the right room as "panini" will be there. log in and just hang if no one is talking.

Well we're not alone, Barth is getting canned on twitter LOL

i think he is getting "canned" everywhere and upon his return apologized for being "long winded" almost as if on the break he checked the media to see how he was doing? Or did someone mention to him he was losing the jury based on in court observations? I started watching this today...all about Kat...left for 30 minutes...came back all about Kat...it is so obvious he has nothing to say about his client. I'm sure the jury see this. No question to me that there will be a verdict by the weekend...latest Friday morning. It is only a question of murder 1 or murder 2 to me.

Seth Mazzaglia's mother is finally able to be present in the courtroom. She was under subpoena by both sides so had to wait until both rested. She is in the gallery today.

I guess State law's differ? I thought all potential witnesses couldn't sit in court but since I started watching different trials it defers. Keeps it confusing for me

Barth says of Seth's gaming friend Robert Andrew Mitchell not knowing of the names Seth used with Kat like Dark Heart and Cyrus...BARTH: "The state wants to say this was a secret area of their lives, how about this? It was just about Seth catching up to Kat McDonough because prior to that he was playing video games, and then met someone sexually wild and engaging and creative?"

I have a question, all the while after Kat moved in with Seth, her Mom was going over there, calling, texting, doing everything to 'reel her fish back in', so why, after Seth was arrested, did Kat move in with his parents? Because she 'had nowhere else to go', or to keep a close tab on Seth and what he was saying?

Things that make ya go Hmmmm

I agree with you, I am half listening while reading other things on WS or the wild world of the web. Shame on me, but Barth is reading a script.

I wonder if he just didn't take the time to develop this closing with sufficient consideration of how it would appeal to the jury. His words are not easy on the ears....imo
