Hi Neighbor! Geez, if we knew earlier we could have made a trip into the courtroom during KM's testimony. Would have been memorable. Maybe if they decide KM lied and she gets a new trial...

It's weird, I was driving home from a meeting just before lunchtime, noticing that the verdict hadn't been reached yet...I had this weird little feeling it might be announced right after lunch. I was thinking, "If they were close before lunch, I bet they wouldn't put off stopping for lunch because they have to give both sides a half an hour to get back to the courthouse, then they have to wait for everyone to be seated, then they have to read the verdict, then there's probably some sort of discharge instruction, then the press would try to talk to them, etc... so it wouldn't be a matter of waiting to eat for a few minutes, it could be hours."

Even I have butterflies. I cannot fathom how Lizzi's loved ones must feel.

Good point! I forgot the travel time. Just think of the butterflies in SM's vested stomach! That vest can now be thrown out and burned.

That's weird. I just got my email alert from WMUR saying a verdict has been reached, so it must be legit.

Yes. I am not questioning the fact there is a verdict to be announced after lunch.
The point I was making is that it was also tweeted that the judge said he would answer the jury's question on conspiracy charge after lunch. So, it appears that the jury's question was not answered yet. Just saying :banghead:

Lizzi Marriot's aunt was sobbing, being comforted by the victim's advocate... its been a LONG road for the family, sitting thru so much horrifying testimony ... they are NOT in the courtroom yet.

A bailiff came into the hallway at 12:15... he said 'VERDICT at 1:00' ... and the scramble began. Defense attorneys Joachim Barth and were outside... they're in they're temporary office... State's Atty Peter Hinckley is pacing in the coutroom.

I think the judge has a list of sentences ready and waiting depending on what the verdict is. He'll pick one he likes.
