Some jurors are writing things down, others are looking at people in the courtroom... defense calling the bench conference right after Kat said something like ..."I wasn’t sure what was going to happen cuz… I know he had threatened people, so I was just a little nervous… "

Got here at the tail end of hearing the State apologize for being sloppy.

Did I hear it right? Witness saw marks on LM (where? neck, wrists, both?) but the State failed to disclose this to the defense?

I'm not quite sure why this is going to matter, she's going to testify that she saw the rope and everything that heppened, right? Not sure why there would need to be disclosure of marks on her neck after viewing what caused them, when he told the judge that I'm was thinking I wouldn't have considered it sloppy, just common sense.

The judge...telling the jury the last response was stricken… … in this case the state is obligated to provide information … constitutional fairness … this is the first they’ve heard any such statement from the witness..

I don't know it it was ligature marks or hand strangulation marks. IMO that would make a difference. Maybe ligature death can happen much more quickly? Pre Med more iffy to prove? Whereas manual strangulation takes times equals premeditation?

Agree Agree Agree. No it doesn't end that quickly. I think her arms were on her chest because she was struggling to get the rope from around her neck.
