Exactly. I'm sure she is. She didn't even want to admit it. What a rough testimony for Lizzie's family to hear. Poor girl :( (Poor Lizzie, not Kat)

And to think, she knew she was still alive, seeing her 'mouth moving' !! OMG :banghead: and still put the bag over her head, ultimately, he had her kill poor Lizzi.

still unsure how I feel about her testimony--if I believe it or not---However, she got too light of a sentence. IMO :moo:

Yea, she could have done so many things to stop it.

LM was a young, strong healthy woman. After seth finished strangling her Lizzi still was fighting for oxygen.

horrible and this thing got three measly years at most?

As far as I've read, she received three terms of 3 - 7 years, so she could serve 21 years before any good behavior time is applied (if NH has that, I don't know).

I've been mostly watching and not reading a lot of the posts so I don't know what everyone's impression of her testimony is but something seems very off with it. She's an actress who loves the stage (from her own words), she didn't convince me that the whole occurrence horrified her or even shocked her, I mean, why would the first thing she'd do be to go to the window, her 'comfort place' and close the drapes? Go to the bathroom mirror and look into her own eyes thinking she didn't want to lose him? And the breaking down at the end, I don't know, just not very convincing.

I've only heard 3 years -- so if she gets more good! :moo:

They were both trained EMT's they knew how to resuscitate her.

IMO Kat was waffy on some areas of her testimony. Maybe it's just me but if I witnessed a murder and did nothing but watch it and help out my true love to get satisfied it would be ETCHED in my brain. I would forget what I ate for lunch yesterday before I forgot who bagged Lizzi's head.

Waiting for the defense tho this witness won't get justice for her role. :tantrum:

100 years wouldn't be enough for her.

Poor trusting sweet Lizzie. I am enraged by this testimony. Utterly enraged.

He didn't put a cocked gun to the side of her head and tell her to bag Lizzi's head.

Kat McDonough gets 1½ to 3 years for role in killing of UNH student

"Kathryn “Kat” McDonough, 19, was placed in handcuffs immediately following the two-hour plea and sentencing hearing on charges connected to the death of 19-year-old Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott. She pleaded guilty to charges of witness tampering, hindering apprehension or prosecution and conspiracy to commit the same
But for you, Elizabeth Marriott would be alive today,” Judge Marguerite Wageling said in imposing McDonough's sentence. “You will carry that around in your conscience for the rest of your life."

WTH is wrong with all these people not calling 911???

jmo I think she was severely brain damaged at the time of the rape and bags being put on her head. She would not have lived no matter what. He clearly got off on the murder... they are both disgusting. imo

You are right, she could have simply refused. I agree she was all in.

Just sayin' he had her do his dirty work the creep, and that he is guilty of that final act as well.

I am sooooooooo relieved to know she could be in prison for 21 years. Thank you geevee!

I, too, think she is putting on a contrite, scared lil mouse act for the court. When she got to the part that seth was strangling Lizzi she stifled a grin. I know I saw a momentary glimpse of pleasure from Kat before she recovered herself. Her eyes lit up and her mouth started to form a grin but she did catch herself almost immediately.

Maybe she was way in deep to that S & M stuff. Maybe she still is.
