So sleuthers, I was mulling last night about the 'Are we painting tonight?' text...

I heard that they had purchased a tarp, duct tape and gloves as part of this murder plot. Which puts the text in a very different context, yes? In other words, he's asking her, 'Are we killing tonight?' She says, i guess, if you have a plan, but that she is nervous.

That make far more sense than the explanation she gives for the text at Day5, part 5 26:30 .

This would make them both guilty of first degree premeditated murder.

That is exactly what I was trying to convey in the post I made during lunch yesterday. (I don't buy the whole "painting" thing.)
They weren't painting anything IMO. I think they had planned to do it the first time Lizzi came over. Only Seth got home too late and Lizzi only stayed a few minutes after he arrived.

I am also torn about today.

I am also worried about another part of her testimony.
When she said that
Lizzi's mouth moved before she put the bags over her head.
I know she said there was no pulse and that she was purple.
But could Lizzi have still been alive?
IMO even if she was, I still think Seth is just as guilty.
I just hope the jury thinks so too.

Hope that all made sense.

I agree. So far the prosecution, although circumstantial, has been strong. KM has been a solid witness so far. I'm hesitant to pick at her story because we need this to be about him. But, she really did get away with murder. :banghead:

I so agree~~i want her caught in lie but then I don't want sm getting away. IMO both guilty :banghead:

I missed that part, but saw some comments about it.

Funny, I noticed that photo this morning, it really is a smirk, very telling. I was comparing her photos from her trial where she was dressing very feminine, pink sweater and curly short hair.

If you want to see evil review the tape at the part where she has Seth behind Kat on the futon and is strangling Lizzi. There is a second where the 'curtain' shifts and you get a peek into Kat's soul. She is enjoying the death. She recovers instantly but for a split second...

I am no spring chicken but I gasped when I saw it.

And why would Kat hate Lizzi? Kat admitted she didn't like to share seth and here was Lizzi rejecting both of them because she was in a committed relationship. Something kat wanted badly for herself. IMO envy drove kat.

Good catch. Yes he was forcing her into bringing in a third party which iirc she said she didnt want. She wanted him for herself. So, her motive peeks through here and there in her story. I do believe she was all in, with his plan to rape and murder.

Haunts unless seth pulls a psychotic break and falls writhing to the ground with foam coming out of his mouth where he is dragged off to the mental hospital I think his goose is cooked with the evidence presented.
We have a picture of what happened and what these two people did to LM.

Her story will hold up IMO. Sure she may have 'tweaked' her version and minimized her involvement but that will not reduce the guilt seth owns in this crime. Perhaps it will come out that Lizzi didn't die instantly and that kat sat on her legs for a while to stop any noise from kicking.

If by some miracle the defense can get her to break and admit the painting 'tarp' wasn't there for seth's mothers house but for the body to be disposed of can the State go after her? But what would be the point of the defense doing that? Showing premed? So :banghead:

The way the naive acting kat spoke about it on the stand yesterday was a blanket get out of jail free deal. As long as she tells the truth she sails through what she did. :banghead:

Why didn't the State pin her down on the real purpose of that tarp?
