She claims she was so broken up she couldn't function. But she was able to function enough to drive a car to Portsmouth. She was able to function enough to drag Lizzi to the water. She was able to function enough to come up with a clear plan of disposal. She was also able to function enough to be making out with another man in downtown Portsmouth while out on bail, laughing and giggling. She's been able to function enough to go to work. She was able to function enough to clean up a crime scene. Pretty functional for for someone so broken up they can't function. She was even able to function enough to suggest that Seth marry her and research it and tell him how to do it.

:clap: That would have been a perfect closing argument if New Hampshire hadn't given Kat a plea deal.

I'm confused.....why is the pros impeaching their own witness?

He isn't really, think that's what the defense's objection was, improper impeachment since they're actually only impeaching her statement to the defense. Guess the defense lost that objection since prosecutor is continuing, and saying he's impeaching her.

i get the feeling that this judge is just as confused as we are with this case...I'm sure he has probably not seen anything quite like this...impeach...sur-impeach and on and on...by now the jury has tuned out since everything is a lie...why pay attention?????

I don't believe much of what she is saying -- EXCEPT when she goes on about saving herself--

Is he trying to impeach her so she can be charged with murder or made to do the full 21 years?

State asking her why she stopped talking to police investigators but when to talk to Seth's defense team.. she says its because she knew the police were against Seth and his lawyers were for him. She said she lied and made it an accident during sexual play, hoping he'd have a similar story and his team would believe it.

She says she didn't have a choice to speak to the Grand Jury ... and that everyone, her lawyer, her mother, insisted she tell the truth. As for lying to Seth's lawyers, she confirmed that the only real consequence if they knew she was lying was that they'd get mad at her.

I think he's trying to rehabilitate how the prosecution's office has handled the whole case where she's concerned.
