Roberta wore the same thing two days in a row too. I guess New Hampshire isn't the fashion capital of New England.

Hey I resent that remark :) I stopped wearing socks with my sandals last year!

But for all that is good and holy, why don't his attorneys go to the big and tall store and get him a suit jacket? Why? They cannot think the facial hair and vest are doing him any favors with the jury. This store (http://www.destinationxl.com/mens-big-and-tall-store/mens-suit-separates/cat140120) is located in Kittery, not far from the Trading Post (http://www.kitterytradingpost.com) where his erstwhile cellmate-heroin-addict business-partner-escape-co-conspirator was supposed to buy him guns for his big jail break, with the earnings from their drug start-up, funded by seed money from SM's bank account. :banghead:.

Or he could have gone to Goodwill which is a hop, skip and jump from his office~

But to me it's a bit refreshing~ Barth is allowing his client to act the same way he does everyday~ no coaching, nothing fake, he is what he is. I do agree with the shaving but I also like that they are keeping him real KWIM?

I guess... but it just seems so disrespectful to the jury and the judge and the process to dress like a schlub for a trial. I guess I'm getting old fashioned and much more used to people dressing formally for things now that I live in the south, ya'll.

No suit coat on Bryan Hulsey in his trial either (He killed LE Officer Anthony Holly). Just a button down shirt.
Hey, both are better than Grant Hayes' white, cool cat pajamas :snooty:

True, and I recall in one of the motions filed for Hulsey that they had to petition the judge so Hulsey was allowed to shave every day for court and something about clothing too but I can't recall what that part was in particular. That made me wonder if Arias had hairy pits 3 days out of 5 since I hadn't seen anything about her demanding to be allowed to shave daily. lol

Maybe Seth is one of those guys that can't pull off a two or three day beard and look cool so he went with facial hair every day. The vest is still a mystery but I suppose they're doing the best the can.

I've seen a handful of posts about the squalor of their apartment - and since I'm a glutton for being grossed out, can anyone tell me where I can see the pics of it? Thanks in advance.

It's a studio so it's just one big room.
You can see the room on this video at 1:04:40
click forward to the second session.
The investigator describes it with close ups on key items.

Would someone please talk about the defense table dynamics?! I am so intrigued by how Barth and (sorry can't remember lady attorney name) literally act like he is not even there.....no engagement with him. Also, SM IMO is so subdued and ....don't attack me for saying it...but almost polite and well behaved. I have never seen him lean over and speak to his attorneys like I see in most cases. He is not there with his pad and pen taking "fake" notes like I also see so many defendants do in other trials. What to make of this????

I think he believes that he will skate home soon.

That would work for me~~don't care for ice cream :fence:

how about a sweet potato and yogurt?:floorlaugh:

I have to say that I am very disappointed in our local PD. They have this big investigation van with expensive and fancy equipment~ I have been inside it during the National Night Out~ For them to drop the ball like this is unforgivable IMO. We are suppose to be a topnotch PD not only in NH but in the US. A friend of mine used to have this position (IIRC under a different Chief) and I know he went to many seminars, classes, etc. to be the best of the best. I looked on the City site and the last record of Burt's wages was almost $70,000 a year! Pretty shoddy work for that amount of $$. I think I am going to rethink paying my taxes~

I will say, we do not have many murders in this City and the ones we have had IIRC they never went to trial but did a plea instead.

Whew, finally about caught up. Watching the lady def atty cross the police office about evidence found in dumpsters and apt. I appreciate that the atty is inexperienced and getting her on the job training, but her cross is annoying. There is something grating about her voice and her manner of questioning. Is it just me?

I know what you are saying. I lived in Central Mass. for most of my life before moving to the southwest.

Time for bed.
See ya tomorrow

Still watching yesterday's. Ugh, the lead detective AND the prosecutor need to learn how to pronounce "buccal swab". It's "BUH-CLE" not "BYOU-CAL".
