I have never seen so many witnesses just go on tangents and not have a judge give them a wrist slap and say "just answer the question".

I doubt it. More likely they would disregard his testimony if he had a long history of fraud or embezzlement or something along those lines

it really seems the judge should instruct this guy to just answer the question...he is to me almost in contempt of court...but I can say Barth loves it.

Barth is just as bad IMO.

ITA. I don't understand why his charges are even relevant.
Barth is just trying (and probably succeeding) in enraging the jury.

I have to disagree Xara.
If I was sitting on the jury the attitude of the witness would bother me more.
(To be a child about it...he started it :facepalm.

But we watch trials all the time, likely this jury does not.
Maybe you are right and they will just think Barth is in the wrong :dunno:
