Her daughter slipped away after meeting someone in a class. This is every parent's nightmare. I bet the jury is feeling her pain.
I don't think KM's mom's testimony would have much impact on me as a juror except feeling sorry for her mom. Her mother handled a really bad/difficult situation (with regard to her teenaged daughter living with a man in his late 20s) with about as much patience and persistence and restraint as I think just about anyone could have.
My feed keeps pausing.....so annoying.
uh oh feeding time at the hive........bottle feeding kittens........

Agree...her testimony leaves me just feeling sad.

sad for sure...her daughter is fearful for her arrest and mom does not contact an attorney??? I don't this Kat's mom is still getting it even now how absolutely sick her daughter is.
Sgt Hennessey first met Kat and Seth on October 12th, 2012, outside the Best Buy in Newington. They went to the police station... She says the defendant was talking about an injury to his leg... in a loud boisterous way... almost too loud for people just standing there killing time while they were waiting to go in. She says he was kicking his heal like he was bending and stretching his knee.

One area I was hoping for Barth to ask her about is when KM, SM's dad and KM's mom went to Barth's office 2 hours after she reviewed her statement with his investigator. I was thinking it was because she brought her mom there in hopes of hiring Barth....guess not.
