Girlfriend of Adam Montgomery found dead; she told cops she never knew about Harmony Kelsey Small, one-time girlfriend of the father of missing Harmony Montgomery, recently was found dead in Manchester, police said.​

In a brief email, Manchester police confirmed Small’s death. Small, 27, was with Adam Montgomery when police found the homeless couple sleeping in a car on Dec. 31, 2021 in the early days of the search for Harmony.

The girlfriend who died is a different girlfriend. I think she might have been before KM.

I'm not sure how separated KM and AM are. One of the conditions on her bail is that she not try to contact him, but she's violated it at least once that made it into the news, so I think she's still pretty attached. Who knows about him.

The father of a missing 8-year-old girl appeared in court Monday morning along with the girl's mother.

Adam Montgomery was appearing in family court, where cameras are not allowed. Harmony's mother, Crystal Sorey, was also there, and as she left the courthouse, she said the topic was Adam Montgomery's parental rights, something she said should be terminated.

"So that we can terminate his rights and get her the help that she needs moving forward," Sorey said. "But we're kind of stuck in a standstill until she's found."

The hearing was continued to a later date, so no decision was made. ...

Search for missing Harmony Montgomery has police in Manchester

The search for missing New Hampshire child, Harmony Montgomery, will have officers at a home in Manchester Tuesday.

New Hampshire State Police say several law enforcement agencies will be at 644 Union Street. That’s the home where both Adam and Kayla Montgomery previously lived.

You’re being asked to respect the privacy of the current home and stay off the property.

Harmony disappeared in 2019 when she was just 5 years old.

I wonder what LE expect to find, or maybe just anything that could be a clue to Harmony's whereabouts since she was last seen in 2019. But would a search warrant be given to LE if the reason for the search was that broad/open-ended?

Part of me hopes that KM finally is talking but probably just wishful thinking on my part. Nonetheless, I am a bit surprised by this convergence since I recall a grand presence last year when authorities had snow & ground thawing equipment on the property for a dig that did not appear to result in any evidence.

ETA: My mistake -- the current search looks to be an apartment and not the home I was recalling.

One of the posters on this twitter account replied that maybe LE brought in a refrigerator to replace the fridge in the apartment where they are searching, to give the current tenants a refrigerator because LE is taking the refrigerator that comes with the apartment due to finding some evidence during their search.
