Whatever the reason(s), probably multiple and cumulative, that the mother was removed as a parent, I hate when those parents blame child services. They didn't give birth to your child, you did. I do know that child services screws up at times and maybe the chain of custody got too muddled here, which still is not an excuse for Harmony being missing for two years. But the mother coming out of the woodwork to say that child services failed her daughter....no, YOU failed your daughter or she wouldn't have been removed from your care. The father, too, of course.
It's apparent I think to all of us, that if this reporter were not intimately involved in this story, we still would not have heard about this case.
IMO he is the one who got the ball rolling, due to his son's missing his sister, and he has the media access and connections to make things happen.
With the father in custody we may learn something, but I'm really confused----if he assaulted her in 2019....what happened then that he didn't lose custody? Unless the uncle or someone is first informing LE now? Idk.
