I find William Argie's testimony nauseating. More fake tears. And way to many "ummmmmmmmmmmmms" and pauses between words.

Yes, Argie is testifying now.

Yeah, I know...Trying to save himself. Too late.

Being a NP he would know how to cut his wrist properly to kill himself...if he really wanted too.

He is bickering with prosecutor. This won't sit well with jury.

  • #26
Stupid move to take the stand. He is arrogant and argumentative towards prosecutor.

Yeah, this isn't going to end well for him...He is getting very angry.

If he's in an addiction and therapy program (which I doubt), he hasn't gotten the concept.

He sounds like the hundreds of addicts I've met. Ego, anger, inability to accept responsibility, everyone else is to blame, lies, etc. No humility.

Defense attorney not even bothering to redirect. Sounds like defense is throwing in the towel.

Both State and Defense rest their cases. Closing arguments 9 a.m. Monday.

Wow...Argie is done and no redirect. And nothing further from the state. Closing arguments on Monday...

he was a very poor witness in his defence, his poor defence attys have to present the defence he wants so they have to work with this,

I feel so sorry for his wife as she lived for years with his bile against her, and when she finally was able to move on from him he murdered her,

his family appear to have loved her as much as her family did, and everybody seems to have been willing to help her to get away from him,

I think this is going to be an easy G verdict,

He had to take the stand as his defence attys strayed into marital privilege and evidentiary issues that only he could have told them about, the state made an issue of it after defence openings and judge enquired that he would be testifying and defence said he would,

I imagine he has been a big handful for defence, he most certainly has read every word of discovery, as he eagerly reminded prosecutor,
