This one really does break my heart- his mom is heartbroken and has no answers for closure. She calls out his friends online to come forward with any info they have at all... they haven’t posted at all since mike went missing.
I hope someone who has any info does come forward, this family deserves closure and rest and hopefully some justice too!

I'm local. This gets attention on local facebook pages and in conversation, but there hasn't been much lately from the media and I don't remember the police ever having a presser.

After the fight at the bar, he ended up at McDonald's. He was basically across the street from a Fire Dept. I wish he had gone there for help.

After McDonald's, he continued east and was last seen at a new apartment complex. This is right adjacent to the Merrimack River.

Gah, the Merrimack River. Not good, if you ask me. A lot of missing men end up found in bodies of water.

Missing Mike McClain - Family's Shining Hope

I am also local to this. My heart breaks for his family and friends. From what I have heard, he was a wonderful and caring young man. According to news here, calling his boss for help wouldn't have been out of the ordinary for him (I can't find the news article I read that in).
(Skip to 3:11 for Michael's case).

Michael “Mike” McClain, 29, was last heard from around 2 a.m. Sunday, April 21, after he left the Tropical Lounge on West Hollis Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. There has been no activity on his social media accounts or credit cards since then.

Mike lives in Manchester, New Hampshire, but was visiting the nightclub in Nashua with friends that Saturday night when an altercation broke out. Nashua Police confirmed to Dateline that they arrived on the scene and the crowd dispersed. Friends who were with Mike at the club told police that’s when they became separated. Mike’s father believes his son left the area on foot because his car was back at a friend’s house in Manchester. He told Dateline that shortly before 2 a.m., Mike called his boss and told her, “They’re after me. More than one.” When she tried to call him back, there was no answer.

Mike’s phone last pinged at the McDonald’s on East Hollis Street around 2 a.m. After that, no one could reach him.

Nashua Police Lt. Daniel Mederos told Dateline that Mike’s case is still an open investigation and they are continuing to follow up on all leads and tips that they receive. Mike is 5’10”, 190 pounds. He has brown eyes but wears green contacts, he has brown hair in braids, and has a goatee-style beard. He has various tattoos on his hands and arms.

Six years of Dateline's Missing in America: 134 still missing

Did they ever search the river?
When missing persons alarms that they are being followed it usually sends up my antenna for signs of mental illness.

I cannot believe he is still missing!

Nashua Police Still Seeking Tips About Missing Manchester Man

"at this point, with all of (our) findings, we do not believe his disappearance suspicious (or) criminal in nature."

He sounds like a lovely, accomplished young man. How sad for his family.

I wonder if breaking up that fight, between two women, right? didn't set something tragic in motion. Booze, adrenaline from the fight, the police being involved, and the nearby river.

Saying that they don't think his disappearance is suspicious or criminal? Nope. Don't buy it.

MOO

The Manchester man was last seen in the early morning hours of April 21, 2019, after visiting the Tropical Lounge on Hollis Street with friends.

“At this point we don’t believe there is anything suspicious having to do with his disappearance,” said Mederos.

Mederos said police met with McClain’s family at the end of 2019 to update them on their investigation.

“We received a lot of false leads just based on innuendo, online social media speculation and people trying to fill in the gaps,” Mederos said, adding police have spent thousands of hours on the case.

Although the department has not received any recent leads, Mederos said police will continue to follow any new information that is obtained.

McClain is one of three people still missing in Nashua.

Michael Andrew Jones, 35, was last seen on Jan. 16, 2019.

April Bailey, 36, walked outside of a Lynn Street residence in her pajamas and slippers to take out the garbage on Jan. 15 and has not been seen since.

Ugh, that April Bailey case still really bugs me too.
