Found Deceased NH - Nicole Davis, 25, walked away from campsite, Raymond, Rockingham County, 4 May 2019

Poor girl! I really believe that she has wandered off. Ground search should be a top priority IMO. Young woman, physically fit I assume, but confused enough to enter the wrong trailer to me would certainly be confused enough to not know she put some items down or takes off her coat if she is sweating from wandering. We know that she was wandering, to me, the simple jump would be that she just kept wandering in the dark. I walk in the dark during the summer. Trust me, even when not confused, with a certain shoe on and no outside lights, you have trouble knowing if you are on a road or packed earth. She could have gone right across roads and not known it. She might have slept all day exhausted and lost. I was so hoping to hear that she has been found. No moon at night, super confusing. If you get lost in the woods, you do start moving fast out of panic even though every thought in your head says don't move. I think that she might have covered a lot of ground. I think they need to widen the ground search IMO. Praying for her.

I hope that her family reaches out to search and rescue groups and any extra scent dog teams. I would beg for out-of-state help.

Given what we heard/know from her Mom, it is a very real possibility that she did wander away and get lost on her own.

Although I remain suspicious of anyone who was with her or encountered her, the fact that her phone and coat were not in the same location (found on different days) suggests she may have taken her coat off herself in the "paradoxical undressing" that occurs in later stages of hypothermia. Which is very very worrisome.
I was thinking the same exact thing. The coat wasn't in the same place as the phone because they were found a day apart.
To me, if the phone was found in the road, and the coat was close by, it would be hard to miss the coat.
This contradicts an earlier post that states that her phone, coat, and her chap stick were all found in the same area?
According to this article, the dogs are looking for her scent. I posted earlier the concern for hypothermia, but if the dogs haven't hit on her scent yet, I'm not so sure she left on foot. JMO.

Her mother believes her daughter is still alive and was possibly abducted.

Law enforcement is planning no more searches, although the family might organize one as they try desperately to stay hopeful asking others to pray for them.

Police say they will now start interviewing Nicole’s friends and others around the campground with the hope of shaking loose some new lead they can follow.

Family of woman missing in Raymond: 'Everyone out there, just pray for her'

Police Chief Michael Labell said police wrapped up their search of the campground around 6 p.m. Monday and found only Davis’ cellphone, jacket, and a beverage can about 30 feet from a campsite.

Investigators believe she walked away from her friend’s campsite and disappeared sometime between 9:30 and 11 p.m. on Saturday. Police were called shortly after 12:30 a.m. when she didn’t return.

When she failed to show up Sunday morning, police returned to the campground and began a search with assistance of State Police and Fish and Game officers.

Labell said her disappearance is suspicious, but that there is no sign of foul play.

“My gut, right now, it’s awful to say, but I think somebody took her. Honestly, I think somebody took her because she’s not one to run away. If she’s upset … she calls mom. She always calls me,” Deborah Feddersen said.

Feddersen said her daughter comes from a close-knit family and would never take off. She has a husband she loves and five cats, she said.

These aren't the initials of her husband, as far as I can tell. DD for him. Not sure who DH may be.

I think DH refers to Dear Husband or Darling Husband. I very well could be wrong, but that's my 2 cents.

Maybe. Thanks - appreciate your 2 cents.
No news who she was camping with, other than stating they were friends. No news if anyone came along with her, as far as I can find.

This report states a friend, as in a single friend. She was camping with this friend and this friend called when Nicole didn't return from a "walk."

Police search for missing woman last seen at Raymond campground

Labell said Davis' cellphone was found near the campsite where she was staying with a friend.

"Around 11 o'clock, she left the campsite to go for a walk," Labell said. "We had information that she had been consuming alcohol."

When Davis didn't return, the friend called police, and the search began. Labell said the friend was unable to tell police what direction Davis was headed when she left for her walk.

Deadly Husband, more than occasionally. Sadly.

Wait I thought she was with her mom?? Hope they clear the friend and the husband right away... as well as the folks watching the game in their camper!

This is so frightening.
As well as confusing. Someone watched her go to the wrong camper but didn’t see her after? So they know the camper?

Seems they do. No official link to offer but a poster on Facebook who is a seasonal user of the campground has mentioned that Nicole was staying with a friend (linked about with MSM) and that this friend is devastated and has been part of the searching. A mention has been made of possible site, A36, and if so you can see from map that it is one with electrical hookup and is not considered seasonal. IMO, she wasn't with any family members, including her husband. Her car is reportedly still at the site too.
Here is a map that I found of the campground and sites.
