Let's hope he was disoriented and is holed up in someone's disused shed and not near water. And thank you for the local perspective. It seems likely that he's got to be close by because with lots of people out and about, I can't believe no one would think a naked kid riding his bike wouldn't raise some alarm.

I also think after falling off his bike,he must have hopped back on and took off quickly because he apparently didn't interact with anyone at that time. My husband is an avid cyclist. He got knocked off his bike by a Merc and although the driver kept going, other motorists stopped to check on him and someone dog walking rushed over. Husband, BTW, was fine. Ripped his trousers and he had to stop at Tesco before work and we learned why I generally pick his clothes.

Have we any information on whether or not dogs have been involved in the search so far/ any locals observed them being used? I have seen posters on the PSNI’s page asking why SARDA Ireland North haven’t been called in but no confirmation either way.

Oh this is awful. That poor wee fella is so vulnerable, naked with a possible brain injury. Hopefully he sourced some clothes but tbh I don't have a great feeling about this. It's been more than 2 days, he was likely injured in the fall from his bike, and may have needed prompt medical treatment. His poor family must be in bits.

“If you are searching. The following locations have already been checked by search teams and police.

Alexandra Park
Grove Park
Premier Drive
Northwood Linear Park
Northwood Road
Seaview Church
Seapark Drive”

My dad has just driven past Alexandra Park and there are still searches going on in the area

Northwood Road is a cul de sac. So for him to properly leave the "area" he would have had to go back, towards Shore Road. Is that where he left his bike? Possibly at the beginning of the trail into Northwood Linear Park.

East of Shore Road there is also a stretch of green, it starts behind the Seaview Presbyterian Church and it ends behind St Katherine's Parish Church. For him to end up there he would have entered Premier Drive. There is a search mark for the Presbyterian church, I am assuming they searched that whole stretch of green going north up to Fortwilliam Park.

*** Appeal ***

We are appealing to young people now. Do you go and have a sneaky drink at the weekend ? Maybe you hang out with friends there - You don't need to say. You know places the emergency services don't. Get a group of your friends - go there and check. Be safe @BelTel
