Didn't I read last night that the house was abandoned? Is that incorrect?

Original reports I saw said that too. New information seems to tell a different story.

ETA: This house is next door to where she was found.

Investigators just took a white BMX bike out of a house on E. Clayton Ave.

Could this have been an accident, car strikes bike, AP dies at scene and perp hid body and took bike? .. only speculating at this point:

It's not impossible, would explain the weird wording at presser earlier. "If someone is responsible for her death..."

But yeah, feeling this is going to get wrapped up pretty fast.

Police had been looking for that bike, which was finally found late Tuesday morning in a home next door to where her body was discovered.

Are these cases related?
Hawthorne, NJ is ~ 118 miles from Clayton, NJ .. abduction attempt the same day AP went missing.

I posted something about this yesterday, in this area (where I live) there have been at least 12 attempted abductions since mid September. There is likely no link between Autumn, the distance is a few hours driving and the suspects up by me have focused on the surrounding towns up here.
