Found Safe NJ - Breyah "Bree" Pruden, 24, flight attendant, Newark, 10 June 2020

Did she live in New Jersey or just keep a crash pad there? Many crewmembers will rent a room or share an apartment with other crewmembers and then commute home flying non-revenue to their primary residence elsewhere. I don't think I ever "lived" where I was actually based due to the cost of living in most major cities.

Yep same with me. And I also relied on public transit to get to and from the airport to my crash pad on my days “on” and always changed into civvies. You get harassed and asked a million questions when in uniform and it can be intimidating late at night. Most people are well meaning and generally curious about the job but there are also creeps. I wish there was more info about Bree and her last know whereabouts. Surely there must be surveillance cameras in the area or on public transit?

I just got sucked into her FB profile. She has an exciting life.
That's what success looks like for a girl her age and she wears it well. I wonder did she manage to piss off all the fairweather friends she had from pure envy? Makes me wonder if All the guys want her & All the girls want to be her. So what girl cant stand it and what guy cant live without it? If she isnt in a nearby accident I would start there.

As a flight attendant she comes into contact with so many people, this should've been blowing up in the news days ago. Just my humble opinion only. Has it been in the news much? Whats the airline doing to help?
I hope they find her soon!

I just walked, via google maps street view, down the 300 block of Chestnut Street in Newark, NJ, the last known area Bree was sighted. What was she doing there? There's a nail place, car place, some small shops. What else is nearby? There is a church 1 street over, just a lot of everyday places. Is there a giant terminal I didn't see nearby? I see a high school a block further away. Idk where she actually lives or hails from.
I am just trying to decide if she was getting her favorite snack from the little dive down the street or visiting friends etc. That would help.

So we even know if she was still working? At my airline - not United- 70% of the workforce has been furloughed. She is very junior in the company based on her age so she would have been one of the first to be laid off by seniority. Could this be a factor in her disappearance?
I know a lot of juniors at my airline are really struggling right now. The wages before for juniors were already not high and with being laid off many are panicked about paying the bills. I hope this isn’t a consequence of losing her job and possible self harm. She seeems to have a super supportive family so I’d like to think that it’s not a factor.
But then I think of the other missing flight attendant from LGA Sierra Shields who was found later deceased by Rikers Island and was thought to have taken her own life after problems at work

300 Chestnut is a mile from Penn Station. I hope she didn’t walk from or to there at night dragging luggage. She went missing in the Ironbound section, also called “Down Neck”, which is a pretty safe section in Newark, but she went missing late at night which is not good.

I hadn’t thought about the fact that airlines are grounded. The New York City area airports are pretty much shut down and most airlines stopped flying in or out of our area because of COVID.

I work in Newark (not currently as the schools are closed). I heard from locals that she was found but cannot confirm this. I am still trying. Idk why she was on Chestnut but that is considered one of the safer areas of Newark. Is there a confirmation of where she lives in Newark?

So I asked some more and the person I connected with said they are FB friends with her but don't know her personally. They "heard" she was safe but then she looked on FB and noticed (as we did) that nothing has been posted (I thought private posts may have been made). So, I'm going to consider her still missing until I hear something official or at least directly from someone who personally knows her.

I didn’t realize that NYC airports were shut down, in the southern cities there are reduced flights (where there used to be 4-5 nonstops, now there are only 2) but the flights are full on American and United.

I have friends who fly for United internationally, they have been grounded for months and they have been flying over 20 years. I really hope she is safe
