Seeking Public Assistance in Locating Adult Female Last Seen in Dover​

Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, Dover Police Department Chief Jonathan Delaney, and Human Services Police Chief Brian Lee are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 26-year-old female from Randolph, New Jersey, last seen in Dover, New Jersey.

Destiny Erts, of Randolph, New Jersey, was last seen at 11:30 a.m. at the Dover Public Library on Friday, July 11. She is considered intellectually disabled and endangered.

Destiny Erts is a 26-year-old Black female, 6 feet 3 inches in height, with brown eyes and black hair. She was wearing black pants, a navy blue tank top, a gray hooded cardigan, black shoes, and carrying a light gray bookbag.

The Human Services Police Department, the Dover Police Department with the assistance of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, has been diligently working on this active missing person investigation.

The search continues to find Destiny Erts, a Morris County woman described as “intellectually disabled” and “endangered,” who hasn’t been seen since July 11.
According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, there have been no developments in the missing persons investigation.

A Morris County woman has been found alive in New York more than three months after she was reported missing, authorities said.

Destiny Erts, 26, of Randolph, was located Oct. 21 in Harlem, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said in a press release. Law enforcement officials responded to the New York City borough to facilitate her transport back to New Jersey.


Through the extensive cooperative efforts of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit, NYPD, Human Services Police, FBI, and other law enforcement agencies, Erts was located on October 21, 2025, in Harlem. Members of law enforcement responded to New York and facilitated her transport back to New Jersey.
