I've been catching up on the threads, but can't find the 911 call that is mentioned. It isn't listed at the front of the threads nor is it in the Amber Alert thread. Does anyone have the link handy? TIA

It’s here somewhere. Also, YouTube brings it up pretty fast. Make sure to listen to/ look for the full version as there is also one that’s shortened.

This is certainly an interesting case.
We were told mom stayed behind in the car to help an eight year old with homework, then we are told she was really in the car scratching lotto tix. Then we have a three year old who is non verbal, but somehow communicates his ice cream was knocked out of his hand, and that his sister ran away or was taken. We have “they” who said “they” saw Dulce taken by two men, but we don’t have clear info on who “they” are. Finally, LE tells the Hispanic community not to be worried about immigration, but they deport the Mom’s boyfriend?

Truly, I am completely lost on this one.

Amateur opinion and speculation

I found this photo of the playground on one of the Bridgeton City Park websites. The "Trails" link on the website doesn't lead to anything, and this photo is outdated since current photos of the playground show a construction site with concrete slabs and orange construction site mesh.

The arrow indicates where Dulce went according to the 3 year old (based on early information).

I think Dulce is a victim of either an accident or an opportunistic abduction.

IMO it's sad when people judge instead of giving understanding, grace, help, and support at a time like this.

Dulce's poor mama. She is really so young and thought they would be safe playing there. And they should have been.

If anyone has possible information but hasn't yet reported it, you can even report it anonymously. Dulce and her family need you to help.

Accident or abduction? Looks like an abduction. The accident theory - where she ran off and hid in the bushes - did not happen, no evidence to support theory.

A 19 year old woman taking two children, who are in the custody of her parents, to the park and losing one because she's sitting in the car playing lottery tickets or homework and there were two men of the same race or two men of different races, and what exactly happened before she learned that her daughter was missing? Where was she, where was her sister, where was her son, and what's this about the ice cream.

What's this about the 3 year? Is he non-verbal because he's 3 years old and learning two languages at the same time, or is he non-communicative.

It sounds like he can communicate, but there's no expectation that others speak his language?

Do we have confirmation of the BF deportation? I thought the Cumberland Prosecuter said at the last Press briefing that BF was picked up by ICE and released? If he has been deported that is new info.

@otto does it seem likely to you that 2 small children would be able to sit on swings while eating ice creams? Dulce had a cup so had to hold the cup and use the wooden spoon to scoop out the ice and then eat it. Seems to me this would be challenging for a 5 yo, let alone a 3 yo.

Looking at the swings you posted I'm wondering if 3 yo brother would need a boost to get into the swing. Given the ice creams not being finished issue, I'm wondering if they were near the swings but not on the swings or possibly even closer to the basketball courts?

Strange to not have a clear sense of the scene and placement of the victim and her brother.

No. I’m going on what I picked up the thread early on. You have the latest.

Or, she caused the brother to drop his cone and he was crying and she got scared and ran between the buildings to get out of sight of her mother and either kept on running or ran into water. There is no direct way out of the park to the south. Either cross Jeddy's Pond or to the other stream to the east, I don't know what it is called. Anyway for a 5 year old child alone all her ways were blocked by water except back in the direction her mother was, at the playground, bb courts, Burt Road and the high school.
There’s a maintenance road going out of the park behind the two buildings beside the playground.

I was going to ask the same thing. I only heard that he was detained and then released. If he was deported, no one will ever come forward with info if they are worried about the same. IMO

Interesting thought. Given the short amount of time (10 minutes or less) between the kids going onto the playground and the little brother crying about his ice cream they may not have gotten on any of the playground equipment.

We'll probably never know since Dulce's mom said a hill blocked the view to the swings (link is upthread somewhere) so it sounds like she only saw them on the playground.

But yes, could a 3 year old get on a swing himself? Maybe with Dulce's help - she was carrying him in the store earlier so I'd guess she could get him onto a swing. JMO.

As a mom with kids this age and being from this area, I can say that my concern would be less that someone would abduct my kids, and more concerned that a kid would get injured or lost in the woods, or fall in to the bodies of water in this park.
It's just not really an area where people are messing with little kids and random abductions are not happening.

I feel like maybe there were people in Noema's age group playing basketball, maybe not people she knew so much as friends, but as people she felt safe with, maybe recognized and felt familiar with, and it gave her an extra sense that it's ok regarding the stranger danger.

I personally hate to live in fear of my kids being abducted and the helicopter mentality of some parents where they want kids to live in a protective bubble. I try to foster independence in my children by giving them a sense of safety and letting them run ahead, but know I have to recheck that now.

I also think it was so hot that day, maybe she was sitting in the car with the air running, but who knows.
At any rate, I hope this child is found. I so want a happier ending. Regardless of the outcome, it changes life for this family and community in a negative way. That deserves compassion.

Bingo. I've lived in Cumberland County my entire life and the biggest concern for parents have been injuries/getting lost. We are generally a community that doesn't mess with kids. Not even "gangs".

Also, very few verified Blood members in the county. I know them.

If she had just put on fresh laundered clothing minutes before would that add a challenge to a track dogs job — maybe not having a scent except the laundry scent? Additionally, Can dogs trace scents of say, someone who was given a piggy back ride?

5 year old Alie Berrelez was kidnapped by a neighbor in her apartment complex, murdered and then put in a duffle bag, her killer put the duffle bag in his car and dumped her in the bag in a canyon. 4 days later a tracking dog was able to track her scent along the whole route his car took, it was 10 miles including on a major highway, so yes tracking dogs can track if someone is carried or put in a car.

Well, we don't know what they revealed in the interviews, but it's possible that they saw the man or even that he himself was among those either playing or watching the basketball game.
They may have even interviewed the suspect already. Imo
We can take it one step further and even say that the suspect may have even partaken in the search for Dulce. Some sickos do do that.

Well then, this they person, “they said some one threw his ice cream on the floor..” person, is either lying or watched an adult throw a child’s ice cream while another child ran off and then turned away.... which is difficult for my non logical side to believe. But maybe. Humans are just naturally curious, you’d think that one would look again especially when said adult exits scene and toddler is still there crying.

Not at all. The mother saw the ice cream on the ground, heard the story from her son, and misspoke where she said "floor" instead of "ground".

Maybe a witness will come forward to tell us what the suspect looks like - the person who threw the ice cream on the ground, the person who allegedly chased the child, the man in orange shoes. If there is no witness other than the 3 year old, then we have to rely on the mother to translate and interpret what the child is saying. Everyone who has had a child knows that language takes time.

I believe the ice cream and direction where Dulce was taken, I don't believe the "two men chasing a five year old in heels around the swing set" story.
