Hoping all these guests that have been checking will notice just how many others are missing. Turn this frustration into a positive by tweeting about one of the many others. They need an army too! Be their advocate!
I do hope Kara is safe out there and contacts her family soon.
And I hope that when another person goes missing, people will remember this story and how quickly the news of a missing person can spread via Twitter.
I'm angry that Kara has put her family and friends through so much distress, and I worry that the next missing teenage girl isn't automatically written of as a runaway because of Kara's actions.
But on a positive note, before yesterday I knew nothing about Twitter and had no idea how quickly a large number of people could be notified about an event. FB is great, but the Twitter response to Kara's disappearance was amazing, IMO.
From now on, I'm planning to use Twitter as part of my missing persons "arsenal".
