Oh, how awful. I wonder what the cause was?

This is the third case in three weeks that I've followed of successful, educated, family men with no history of mental problems to just disappear and be found dead soon after! I don't get it. [emoji26]

Hi Truth- I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully this was just a sudden illness or accident and not something else. Either way, it's no consolation for the family. It can get so depressing.

This is so sad and not the outcome I wanted. You never know what people may be going through. I truly believe there is more to this story but to respect the privacy of the family(which I'm all for) it wasn't disclosed. May he Rest in Paradise😢

How does it make sense that his body was found "in the bushes" just a few blocks from his home - but meanwhile they did exhaustive searches trying to find him and came up with nothing?

Does anyone know how far his body was found from his home?

Kinderkamack Rd is a busy main Road off of Soldier Hill Road so it was not that far from his home. Im trying to figure out how he went into the woods undetected unless he accessed the woods from Soldier Hill Road. So sad😢

It's very possible he wasn't deceased at that time? Maybe? I watched the news and they said an officer on patrol noticed a strong scent of a decaying body and investigated. Kinderkamack Rd is a busy main road so it's possible it wasn't initially searched.

In this article, investigator says it was a half mile from his home and stated that he didn't know if it was pills or something??? Seems they should not state that without knowing!

You're right but I think what he means is that there are no obvious signs of trauma visible to them so they're imagining some other way he would've ended up dead. Still - for a "veteran investigator" that's an irresponsible thing to say to the press

From the police photo it looks as if the body was right by the road!

Or maybe the bag he was last seen walking with had pills in it and were found on the scene. Just a thought

(forgive me if this was already posted, i made the same mistake last night)

A Bergen County official confirmed late Thursday afternoon that the body of the missing man had been found. Authorities on the scene near the Oradell Healthcare Center on Kinderkamack Road declined to comment on the investigation.

A law enforcement source said no foul play is suspected and the body appeared to have been there for some time. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
