Another attempted abduction in Newark???

"According to police, two females younger than age 12 were approached by a man in a truck wearing a ski mask over his face. The suspect offered the girls a ride, but they refused. The suspect reportedly left his vehicle and began chasing the girls."

"Along with the dark-colored ski mask over his face, he was wearing blue jeans and a dark coat at the time of the attempted abduction."

"The truck the suspect was driving was a gray pick-up truck with a black stripe down the length of each side, about six to 10 inches wide."

about an hours drive from newark, nj.

Attempted abduction may be linked to prior case
Investigators are now comparing this to an incident that happened back in November in Bethel Township, Pa. There, a 13-year-old girl, who was waiting for a school bus, was approached by a masked man with a knife.

Police in both jurisdictions plan on comparing notes Wednesday.

even though it's not mentioned, maybe the ohio one is connected too - in all three, the height/build are roughly the same and the guy is wearing a ski mask.

bethel, pa is about 3 hours from newark, ohio --- newark, ohio is about 7 hours from newark, delaware... that's a lot of driving, maybe he travels for a living? one child said he had short nails and rough hands, so police think he may work in construction.
