No new information has been released two months after an Atlantic City woman went missing and her married boyfriend killed himself in his Camden County home...

As soon as her father heard that news, “I felt I would probably never see my daughter again,” David Wiggins said. “Because what’s the reason for him killing himself? And what happened to my daughter? I don’t understand any of it.”

Sapphire Wiggins and Kevin Shelton, 50, had been dating at least since the spring, her father said. Around April or May, the couple came to visit him in Philadelphia.

Kind of shocking that the boyfriend hid Sapphire so well if he was planning on killing himself. I wonder if she could be in water. What was the name of the girl from MN I think, whose ex killed her and then himself? They found her in a river months and months later. I'm really blanking on the details right now.

She hasn't been located by now...Not what I had expected. Maybe he buried her at a place special to him...or put her in water...I really hate typing out things like that but I'm convinced that man killed Sapphire first and then ended his own life shortly after.

You're thinking of Mandy Matula. She was found in October 2013. I'm not sure if she was found in the river or near the river, though. Kara Trevino was found in the river, but her killer is alive in jail. And there was a third woman, that I can't think of right now, with similar circumstances from MN or WI about the same time. Maybe you're thinking of that one.

On Oct. 18, Shelton called a family member and said he got into an argument with his girlfriend, claiming he did something bad and was going to jail for a long time, according to investigators.

I was not aware of that confession. Also interesting that they keep calling his wife his ex-wife, when it seemed they were very much married and living together, but maybe it's just bad past-tense wording because he's dead.
