Welp. Now I think it's safe to say it's more than just cold feet, a free vacation (which I always thought was the least likely scenario, because... She went to Atlantic City), or catfishing.
Was there an update that I’m missing?

Nope. Not that foul play necessarily became more likely, but IMHO a voluntary disappearance became less likely, if that makes sense. I can't imagine it being easy living off the radar with no family, home, English, money, etc. She couldn't have gone back home without being detected.

Do we know for sure she is still missing? I haven’t looked for updates

I don’t see any updates, but there was so little public interest that I doubt we’d get anything in MSM.

''ST. JOHN’S - The head of a central Newfoundland airport is warning the public after staff noticed an increase in people who appear to have been victims of a manipulative scheme known as catfishing.
Reg Wright, chief executive of the Gander International Airport, said Monday that more people have been arriving at the Gander International Airport to meet someone they’ve been speaking with online, only to find the person doesn’t exist. ''
