GUILTY NJ - Trial of Christopher Gregor Allegedly Beat 6-Year-OId Son to Death #2 *NG murder, Guilty endangering welfare, agg manslaughter*

  • #341
State, final act of abuse, between 9 am and 1 pm. When he was alone with CG.

When brought to the hospital, he was already in distress.

Traumatic blunt force injury.

"A lethal train of events"

The whole quote: "a lethal train of events without which death would not have occurred".

  • #343
Dr. R initially ruled the death undetermined. Later amended. To homicide.

Dr. Andrew reports no pneumonia, bruised lung.

Post mortem CTs need special training to read.

Partial tear. To the heart. Not the size, but where it's located.

"Severe but Corey's heart could compensate over hours".

No bleeding out, no instant death.

Heart compensates, then decompensates, then arrests.

:(

Dr. Andrew's report on the liver. Two injuries, ugly but not lethal. Not a super fresh injury, not attributable to CPR.

Inflammatory process....
Oh, that's hard to hear.

Even as he was dying, Corey's body was trying to heal...

  • #346
State is reviewing his health records from the night before, compared to the next day when his body is shutting down. No infection but a stress response -- elevated WBC and glucose. From traumatic blunt force.

If caused by CPR, there'd be no inflammatory reponse.

Thanks for posting all of these. I’m not able to watch but it sounds like the pros closing is really coming together. Fingers crossed for guilty and justice for Corey.

Mario: you can't say any of his injuries were from the treadmill.

Merda! Merda!

I admit, I was trying to remember who Merta is. Murder! Murda! Murda!

I need the State to drive this home: if CG was willing to torment Corey in a community gym, what else was he capable of doing to that child?

Now Mario is questioning Bre having Corey sleep in bed with her.... must be because Corey wasn't feeling well...

Wonder what CG did that last time. Did he throw him onto a car? Did he stand/jump on his stomach?

Punch. Headbutt. Doubled over, a blow to his back.

Notice how every time Bre was late by a minute, CG wasn't concerned about Corey, he was mad that it interfered with his plans. Fatherhood was an inconvenient truth. Incompatible with his randy Peter Pannery.

He resented Bre fir getting pregnant. For giving birth. Resented being inconvenienced by her. Resented Corey... for being born. Resented Corey for being ill and messing up his plans that day. Juggling three hookups. It's a wonder Corey didn't die right there at Corey's... lethal injuries.

Think of the force to tear an inner layer of heart muscle.

He won't do well in prison.

State is talking about Vaden, not board certified in...

Strange idea of SIDS in an almost 7 year old...

That he didn't speak as a matter of medical certainty but rather percentages....

It doesn't fit. Trying to make pneumonia fit.

Without taking into account how he presented, with blunt force trauma.

Six year olds don't just die.

No sign of sepsis.

Blunt force trauma.

Murder.

We know when it happened.

We know where it happened.

We know why it happened.

He was angry at Corey's mother. Angry that Corey told.

He caused Corey's death -- or injured him seriously resulting in death.

Knowingly

Conscious, life injuring on a six year old. One strike, multiple strikes, it doesn't matter. It caused Corey's death.

Extreme indifference to human life.

Corey was two hours late, treadmill.

This time he was 14 hours late.

He fled.

The defendant's actions before and after prove murder.

Texts Bre on the 2nd, you are a detriment to Corey's health.... have him back before school.

There was no school that day.

Threatens to take a day and night off Bre's visitation schedule.

State notes his anger.

Bre was under 'witness sequestration' until today. As soon as court ended on Tuesday it was lifted. Usually it's just in case they need to call someone back to testify. She didn't do anything wrong. ♡
Thank you. My heart goes out to Bre and her family.

CG tells Bre she will be sorry. (I think that's what she said)

State goes over his call to CPC --

Says he didn't know where Bre lives, has no phone contact (even though they exchanged over 800 messages).

Bre wouldn't leave Corey's side.

Mario:
Fish they sell at the grocery store are called: FISH.

He makes it sound like "Dead Fish" is something gross. LOL.
I don’t know anyone who buys live fish.

CG says to CPC that Corey has been coached by Bre to say he hit him.

Corey never said he was hit by his father. State says CG slipped up.

State asks why CG used that word... he knew what he was going to do.

Says Bre is relapsing and psychotic...

Attacks her family.

Defendant is the only one who uses the word hit....

State is reading his text messages with Marci... talking about pizza and video games...
