Yes - that is correct what you have above. Just looked in Pena-Cantor - still no update on her next hearing. And Welch - yep left blowing in the NW wind...

They are all charged with child abuse by the way.

This case has infuriated me from the beginning. I hope justice will be served by the State of NM for the horrific abuse and murder of this poor three-year old. I've written at least three angry rants here about what I think is mishandling of this case and deleted them all before posting to stay on the safe side of WS. moo

The older sister who was subject to the safe house interview, she detailed that the child had been tied up & she demonstrated this with a doll. She demonstrated that her ankles had been tied together & that she’d been tied to the corner of the bed,” said a state prosecutor in court Friday. The child also said she & her siblings were frequently groped by adults & that her mom just stood & watched, according to police. The judge ruled Welch would be released ahead of a possible trial. The same judge ruled Santos would stay in jail because Santos is not from New Mexico & has no residence here. Austin Bing was also in court, but his hearing was rescheduled until next week. Bing & his mother Christina Hopkins Pena-Cantor were in the car driving to Albuquerque with Santos & her kids, according to police.

*Scheduling Conference Hearing via Zoom (@ 9am MT) -NM – LS -3 year old girl, brought to Univ. of NM hospital dead & allegedly sexually abused, Jan. 14, 2024 in Albuquerque - *Christina Hopkins Pena-Cantor (46) arrested (1/14/24), indicted, charged (1/29/24) & arraigned (2/5/24) with 1 count of reckless abuse of a child (results in death), 1 count of 1st degree kidnapping (no intent to commit sex offense), 3 counts of abuse of a child (does not result in death or great bodily harm), tampering with evidence (highest crime a Capital, 1st or 2nd degree felony) & failure to report child abuse or neglect. Plead not guilty. Held without bond.
