She was at one in Albuquerque.
But the guy in the pickture never left LA? He dropped her off at the airport in LA to meet with his brother in law in Albuquerque (i think).

No, they were both in ABQ. The photo was probably taken same-day. The motel clerk confirmed that the guy in the photo was there. They're not even sure if she flew out of LAX or Burbank, or why she left.

There’s been a lot of confusion, which is reasonable, about the timeline.

Polaroid Guy never went to Albuquerque. She brought those pictures with her. He dropped her off at LAX so she could fly off and meet with Eduardo.

This is what I've understood as the most resent timeline.

They know he dropped her off at the airport, but still nobody knows who she is? I swear this case only gets more confusing.

He dated her for a few weeks. He still liked her and they remained friends but he distanced himself because he felt she was involved with some shady stuff. For some reason, he never figured out her last name.

That's a Seinfeld episode waiting to happen.

These must all be brand new revelations. I haven't seen them anywhere.

That podcast.

A lot of stuff, a lot of disturbing stuff about her past, was released.

I didn't listen to any podcasts. But someone knew a lot about her past yet not her full name?

But the airport didn’t know her name either?

im thinking how can someone be so sure of all these details but have no way to identify her?? That doesn’t add up to me. Where can I watch the podcast without signing up or paying for something?

He only knew her for like a few weeks. Then she went to be with Eduardo in ABQ. And it went bad.

Not blaming Eduardo for anything but it’s obvious something happened that shook her to the point of suicide. From what Polaroid Guy revealed, she had a very traumatic experience happen to her in the past but I’m not going to discuss that here out of respect for her. I hope you all do the same.

I don't know if it's the only podcast nor the one being mentioned, but I found a podcast about this case on Spotify by searching for "Albuquerque Jane Doe" there. I have the Spotify App but no paid membership. I don't know if you need to create a Spotify account. I haven't listened to it yet.

Do you have any source for where I can read about what you're intimating?

If you don’t want to search for it, between 8:33 and 9:11 in Episode 6, there’s a reading of the police transcript between Albuquerque PD and the guy who’s name was on the drug scale (who is also photobooth guy but NOT the man who rented the room, who is actually his brother-in-law).

He’s asked by the interviewer if the decedent was ever in legal trouble or would have been summoned to court for any reason, and he says that she told him that her father had molested her when she was younger and there may have been some legal proceedings relating to that. Later on he says the impression he got was that nobody ever knew (which is entirely contradictory to the first part of the statement, and it didn’t seem like he was all too sure).

Side Note: if anybody can find a way to get the full transcript from these episodes, it would be appreciated. I would really like to get the full written version of this interview and some other sections.

More easily accessible link to listen to the podcast episodes here: The Butterfly Effect: True Crime | butterflyepodcasting

@The4TierBridge , I have The ButterflyEffect podcast on Apple Podcasts, and the transcript for the first episode is available when you open the listing. Just open and scroll down. It says it is automatically transcribed. I quickly skimmed through the first three episodes, and the transcript was there for each. Hope this helps.

I'm really not convinced that the information provided by the man in the photo is completely accurate. It makes no sense that she went to be with one person but leaves the photo out of another.

There is also the vagueness despite giving very personal details about Becca. And the mention of the friend Jack, which is also vague and not followed up. And the drop off with a rucksack when she had a suitcase.

That's not to say I think the man in the photo had anything to do with her death. But I do wonder if he was at the motel but is afraid to say so in case people assume he was involved. The fact that she had heroin in her system could also mean that he wants to create distance whilst also trying to give info that could help identify her. I just think it's a bit more complicated.

Am I missing something? Do we know why there was no way for law enforcement to contact Jack?

From the interview, it seems George knew his last name. Jack was one of Becca's friends and would likely have more information about her, whether her identity or pointing LE towards friends that would know more about her.

It seems like getting info about Becca in front of her friends is the missing puzzle piece here, it's just unknown how to do that. It's really sad to hear she had a very close childhood friend that was likely missing her and looking for her. Perhaps they just didn't know to look for a decedent, or gave up by the time the Internet was widespread.

It's sad that we have a name she went by, a general location she lived in, and we know she had close friends that would likely be missing her, there's just been no way to put the puzzle pieces together yet.
