A few min's ago, I saw (part of) a TV news story about LE discovering evidence of 10-20 human SKULLS - I'm guessing bone fragments, not intact skulls - at a house in Jal, NM. several days ago.

The story included Angela's name & pic but did not say that she (her remains) has been identified from the evidence collected.

The evd. was taken to the Office of Medical Investigator in Albuquerque for analysis & hopefully identification.

No charges filed yet, suspect not named, per Lea County Sheriff's office.

Just found the article on KRQE TV stations' website.

How very sad this is for her family, either way.

I hope this is just a mentally ill man who didn't harm anyone himself but collects bones from an ancient graveyard, or something along those lines. But if they are victims from modern times, hopefully the remains can be identified through DNA(?)

Nov 14, 2024 article - according to this, there appears to be no link between the remains and Ms McManes. I started a new thread on WS (NM - Cecil Villanueva, in custody after several skull fragments collected, Nov 2024) under Crimes in the News. These two may need to be combined if a link is discovered?
