Police issue Amber Alert for 15-year-old girl missing from Taos County

Authorities issued an Amber Alert early Sunday for a 15-year-old girl who they said was taken by a man in Taos County Saturday evening.

Sgt. Chad Pierce, a New Mexico State Police spokesman, said police believe Angelica Valdez was abducted by Christian Orozco, 21, around 6:50 p.m. Saturday.

AV was taken from Taos County, NM. Just one month ago he kidnapped and assaulted someone from Rio Arriba, Co, which is a neighboring county to Taos. I will assume that is a different victim and not AV. This man is very dangerous.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The 15-year-old girl abducted in an armed home invasion Saturday night was found safe in Espanola Sunday morning, according to the Taos County Sheriff’s Office.
