Jessica, 35, has been missing since Friday, Nov. 25. While that was the last time anyone has heard from her, police and family members say it was the day before Thanksgiving — Wednesday, Nov. 23 — that anyone has actually seen her.

Jessica has an 8-year-old son, Daniel, and has been asking for his mother, Montoya said.

The first time anyone suspected something was wrong was on Monday, Nov. 28, when someone at Daniel’s school, Gil Sanchez Elementary, called Jessica’s aunt, Eileen, to inform her Jessica hadn’t yet picked him up.

“My sister, Eileen, had communicated with her the day after Thanksgiving through text,” Montoya said. “She said she was probably going to go to the casino — Isleta Casino. That’s the last time anyone heard from her.”

Jessica Montoya is described to have brown hair, brown eyes, 5-feet, 4-inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds.

If anyone has information regarding her whereabouts or about what happened to her, call the Belen Police Department at 505-865-9130.

Her car was found bloodied less than two weeks later.

“It was located off of the off of 98th Street in Albuquerque, up by the freeway,” Harris said

The first analysis of that blood did not bring a match.

When police issued a search warrant for her phone, the last ping was near the Veteran’s Hospital on Gibson Blvd in Albuquerque.

“There's nothing too small. If if somebody gives me information, I'm going to follow up on it. We're going to follow up on it,” Harris said

“The first analysis of that blood did not bring a match.” Does this mean it didn’t bring a match to Jessica? Did they extract someone else’s DNA from the blood?

Jessica was 35 years old when she sent her last text message to family from Belen, New Mexico on November 25th, 2022. She was last seen alive by family on November 23rd, the day before thanksgiving and her absence was noticed when she failed to pick her son up from school on November 28th. Her cellphone's last location pinged near the Veteran's Hospital on Gibson Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jessica's final text conversation shared that she intended to visit the Isleta Casino. Police ran her license plate in Duke City on November 25th and later recovered her Camry near the intersection of 98th Street and Avalon - a common dumping ground for stolen vehicles. Though police are withholding information regarding their findings, they say blood, DNA, and other evidence was found in the car.

Family reports that Jessica struggled with chemical dependency in the past, particularly methamphetamines. They feel that police have "dragged their feet" in investigating Jessica's disappearance but police feel they have followed all leads and interviewed all necessary parties. Jessica remains missing.

DOB: Unknown, circa 1987
Description: Jessica was 5'4 and 180 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a scar on her right knee.

Tribal Information: Unknown
