NM - Tera Chavez, 26, found dead in her Los Lunas home, 22 Oct 2007 - #1

Serna saying Jones telling Debra that he "can promise Tera was killed in her sleep". And Jones responds, "here we are". Point to Jones. Although Serna pointed out that he's not convicted.

What I don't understand is Levi claims his wife was depressed and committed suicide. So what is up with this line of questioning?

There have been so many disjointed segments of this def. atty's questioning I am not following along as well as I would like. Apparently he thinks he can cast doubt on everything pertaining to LC by way of making this officer look bad.

I'd love to know the history between these two. They are barely containing themselves--massive snarkola is right under the surface. This level of animosity sure seems to go beyond a contentious cross to me.

...and here we go with the F bombs again!

I think Serna is just trying to discredit Aaron Jones in the eyes of the jury because apparently it was Jones, an officer or detective with APD at the time of Tera's death, who first started to question that Tera death was a suicide. Whatever evidence Jones found prompted him to start looking at Tera's death as a homicide. He stood against specific APD officers that tried to, IMO, cover up for Chavez killing his wife.

I am back. Had to go to the grocery store or my husband would ban me from trial watching. Lol. Anyway wow.... is that snarky tone or whatever that is from the defense attorney allowed? Goodness..... I have not watched that many trials but quite a few and I have never seen this before even with Casey Anthony.

This is the worst video and audio of a trial I have ever watched in my life.

Also, first time I have seen an attorney wear white shoes.

WHAT?!?!??!?!?!?

I hope the irony is not lost on the jury that Serna is implying Jones is a dirty cop for asking possible improper questions, while his client has lied, cheated, and probably murdered while a police officer.

Thank you so much for bringing me back around to this. You are exactly right and we knew this a couple of days ago and I had lost sight of the reason. He broke the blue line so to speak.
