I loved Judge Perry. I still do, wish we could watch another trial in which he presided. He was excellent in every aspect. I saw an interview with him last week in which he said he was so shocked and upset by the verdict in the CA case he had to read the jury's verdict papers twice to make sure. I can't imagine how much fun he would be as a next door neighbor.

I know right. Ohhh those were the days except for that awful verdict.

Thank you kindly to all who post updates, and explainations. Trying to follow this trial by sneaky speed reading your posts is a hoot! :floorlaugh: I am enjoying every minute of it. Keep up the good work!

IMHO I think that they just wanted us to think they did. I never bought it with CA or JA. :twocents:

I agree 100%. Neither of those psycho's probably ever cried a day in their miserable lives. At least tears for anyone other than themselves.

Actually, I miss Juan. That's who I miss.

I forced myself not to get attached to the JA case/trial. I watched the updates on the news each night but I knew that one was going to be a time sucker sure enough. I don't even know why they had a trial, she had already confessed, they could have skipped it and simply had the penalty phase as far as I'm concerned. Penalty being the same punishment as was dealt her victim.

OH! OK! Just like CA and JA! Although they both wiped their noses an awful lot! So maybe they did have snot

Or maybe they had more years of practice to perfect their skill at fake crying and looking distressed. Tho JA could have used help with looking remorseful.

OT/////North Carolina peeps, just got a news thing that the storm system headed this way is going to be really bad. Winds up to 80 mph, not so much tornadoes involved, but just sustained and straight line winds. Will be over Raleigh, NC around 6pm. I have relatives flying in from NY at the same time. I'm worried a bit. Yall take care, and everybody else who may be getting this strong storm system.

I didn't get into the whole CA thing and I am glad I didn't. Although I was shocked she was found not guilty.

I came to WS to follow Lisa Irwin because the FB pages were awful. As you can see I haven't posted much. Too slow and don't think quick.

I followed JA trial and was glad of a guilty verdict, doesn't matter to me what her sentence is as long as it is at least LWOP.

Here I am now!

I fell in love with Jeff Ashton during that trial. I have never seen a prosecutor turn almost every defense witness into a prosecution witness with just a few brilliant questions.

Awful verdict indeed. I couldn't bring myself to read about or listen to any other trials after that; I couldn't even stomach watching 48 Hours knowing they had those lying conniving Anthony's on there. And then came along the Arias trial and I got hooked. I am SO thankful the jury got at least 2 out of 3 verdicts right. I'm waiting like everyone else for the next phase next month.

In the south, both men and women can wear them between Easter and Labor Day and be in vogue. I don't like them either, I don't think I even own a pair other than sneakers.

Stay safe NC! Hopefully your relatives flight will be delayed in NY until the storm passes.

Another reason to love the Pacific Northwest. Wait. Not really. People here think Birkenstocks are dressy shoes. Kill me now.

The DT wants it delayed till Jan, 2014! :(

When the Ansrea Sniederman trial begins, could somebody cut my 'puter cable so I don't get sucked in. :floorlaugh: After CA and JA's trials, my house will be condemned if I watch another. And my job will go bye bye if I get caught sneaking WS looks. (I am on break right now)

LOLOL! I have some vintage Birkies, those babies don't ever wear out! I also have a friend in Seattle and another in Blaine, WA -- been friends with both for 20 plus years and have noticed they sure don't think and eat like this old gal from the south.

Oh, thank goodness. I thought I missed a memo or something...
