Witness was charged with one count of larsony (sp) in 2011 and still has no court date.........the charge carries 3 year penalty.

I know what he's trying to do but this is cheap. The prosecutor already established that her crimes and her testimony have no bearing on one another and she will not receive a lesser sentence for testifying in this case.

I am not getting this....is defense trying to make sure the jury knows this witness is dishonest or is he trying to establish that she was charged so she would testify for prosecution? Either way defense is bad!

Do you think the jury can see through it? I never know how to read a jury, can't determine if how I absorb info is the same way they do any more. Especially after the CA jury.
