There is no way a female puts a gun in her mouth to commit suicide. I'm just not buying it.

Lastly?

This is such important testimony and the ada just can't get her questions formed exactly right. I know what she is trying to ask, wish she could spit it out. Wish, too, that Serna would be quiet.

What about all the cold medicine in her blood? That was talked about in the civil case.

yeah I wonder if they are bringing someone else to testify to that or if this witness is it.

I can't believe this guy is arguing about her teeth. This is ridiculous.

WTF difference does it make how many people LOOKED at the body? Kill me now.

I wish the PT would give their witnesses props, like a skull with teeth. Props help especially with medical stuff like this.

Hmmmm.... Serna trying to make her say that this could have also been a suicide. I think he is going to press on to the jury that the undetermined is exactly that: undetermined. Hmmmmm.... I am not happy right now.

If she's sick and taking aspirin and cold medicine, she is not thinking about suicide.

WORD. I completely agree.

I wish the Pros are more extensive in their redirect of this witness to include all that.

dam it. If I were a ME I would collect fingernail clippings no matter what!!!!

I agree why would she be treating a cold if she was going to kill herself?

I do not like Serna! I do not like Serna! Did I say I do not like Serna. :floorlaugh:

I hope and pray I never need a lawyer because I think I would rather go to jail first then have a lawyer like Serna, Nurmi or JW. just sayin

This is not directed at you Celeskitty!

Serna is over the top with "good 'ol country folks" routine. He is not Matlock and certainly not as sharp as Perry Mason. I think everyone in the LE side of things got caught up in "its a suicide, nothing to see here" and decided to not investigate very deeply. So many cops involved in sleeping with each other and tampering with evidence, I can't imagine being on this jury.

Because the gun residue test is unreliable!

Ah, I thought the test for gunshote residue is very reliable and remember it helped convict the attortny (who was sleeping with a judge) when he shot and killed his pregnant wife after they had just made love. She had gunshot residue on her hand because he had insisted earlier that day to take her to a gun range and have her shoot a gun. SOB was found guilty.

I thought no gunshot residue test was done because in both this case and Brett Seacat's trial both spouses of the dead victim were/are in law enforcement and claimed suicide.

Very compelling testimony from what I read the last witness, from the ME office?, said that the gun had another bullet chambered. Tera was dead immediately from the shot she suffered. She would not have any strength to chamber the next shot, she was dead.

hello Levi

I thought I remembered one of the KBI people testifying in the Seacat trial say that they don't use the test anymore because it isn't reliable. I thought for one they said so many people can wash their hands. Which I think Brett had many opportunities to do so. That is the same thing they said in court this morning that it isn't used much any more.

So I don't know about all states. Maybe it cost to much and isn't worth it if it isn't that reliable.
