There was/was not a break in? I haven't heard this before?????

Do you think he is just going for any type of reasonable doubt? Yikes.

At LC's neighbor's house sometime around then. Nothing to do with this case imo.

That and mass confusion. I think it may work for a hung jury if this isn't a jury of level headed people.

When they broke for lunch I took a break help clean up the storm debris in the yard. Then a nap. I'm back and it's the same old, same old Serna twisting timelines around with this new female witness.

Omg this witness is falling apart. She is withdrawing her testimony. OHHHHHH

Dang, he just blasted her seeing Levi on the morning of the murder.

That was horrible for the prosecution. :banghead:

Well, at least she wasn't one of his lovers. Thank goodness for that.

Omg, witness recanted that she saw LC on Saturday....says now it's Wednesday. She was confused on her days when she saw him.
And McKay tried to re-cross about her being a former police officer and questioned her about her gun, Serna objected, that what did that have to do with anything, and judge sustained question. And McKay basically shrugged and gave up line of questioning.
Witness excused.

I fault the prosecution for this. He should have known that Serna was going to object. McKay should have had a strategy in place before questioning her about her past LE experience.

Did the state just get this case a week ago, geesh did they ever hear of preparing a witness.

Can't believe that neighbor and she was former LE no less.

This witness sounds like RS -- same little, tiny voice and she also slurs her s'es too.

That's what I'm talking about.
I'm not thinking LC will ever see a prison cell at this rate, hope I'm wrong.

Serna interupts witness, says 'hold on, hold on' which in this courtroom translates to 'objection, may we approach'.
sigh....

They certainly all could use a course in usual courtroom behavior.

And please get a real camera and not someone's webcam to broadcast the trial.

If I heard right this lady said she was Tera's sister in law?

  • #719
Serna just displayed some fake sympathy.
