Well from what I heard there will be court Monday and Tuesday and then there will be 5 days with no court. The next Monday the defense starts their case.....oh my how fun will that be?

Is Rachel Perea the wife of his partner? Isn't Perea the guy he was supposedly logging evidence with the weekend Tera was killed?

I missed the testimony but did one of the articles posted say Verizon showed calls made from LC to Perea when they were supposed to be working together that weekend?

I don't know about RP, I was thinking it was spelled Perrea but it could be that LC didn't know how to spell it as I've noticed several other misspellings of his. I am not sure about the phone call either,,,,I'm telling you, my head is killing me from yesterday's cell phone testimony and I'm worthless this afternoon. I'm so sorry. I'll get back to this tonight or in the morning and see what I can find out or maybe somebody else will know sooner.

Keep those memories tamped down and don't let LC or any other part of this case mess up your emotional balance. I am so glad you were able to get out of your relationship and saw him for who and what he was. You don't need toxic people in your life, none of us do. I had a somewhat toxic mother, very negative and emotionally abusive, I loved her and miss her now but got out as fast as I could.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It was an emotionally vulnerable time and I saw a lot of things but didn't care. Then the ugly emerged. It shows me that there are a lot of men like this who are, in many ways, a predator-not the sex offender kind but a whole other type. This dude messed with my head more than my ex. I can't imaginr what Tera lived with. This trial is just so bizarre already and seeing all this is somewhat surreal. I can't wait to follow live and post when I am not working finally.

This morning I tweeted the author of the news article about the 15 hour gap that they couldn't track Levi's cell phone usage during/around the time of Tera's murder. Below is what I just received from him. Apparently, Serna played a smoke and mirrors trick on me, maybe more people. At least the locals who read the article will come away more informed.

You appear to be very well aware now of how so many prey on the vulnerabilities of others and you know what to watch for. It's an evil thing to play with another's emotions, which include the deepest parts of our souls. It's difficult to get past, even with help. Though it was bad, you are stronger and wiser. This trial may help your resolution and healing and help prove to yourself how strong you are today.

The updates on the feed page say it is the civil attorney. Not sure of his name, or whose side he is an attorney for though.

He was the attorney handling the civil case for the Cordova family and LC had Serna their to represent him. The recording was played to be as testimony in this criminal case. The PT wanted the video to be shown but Serna objected bc LC had his shirt sleeves rolled up and had an attitude about being there and this would be prejudicial against LC so just the audio was played. It was powerful today but my gosh so much of the communication is in the body language and that was lost but I hope the jury sees what they need to see from this deposition just from listening. I did but I am not on the jury obviously.

Until I met my exes I was beyond naiive about men. I could have ended up like Travis A....its a miracle I didn't meet someone like JA. I started volunteering for a sexual assault crisis center and that was my biggest therapy....the formal helped but the SA crisis training was the best. Which turned into working in juvenile centers and psych centers....

She sure has a plentiful amount of self assurance. It's too much, she should be a little more humble on the witness stand in my opinion.

I know that is what I was thinking. I get it she is hostile and thinks Levi is innocent but Even if it is just out of respect for the death of another human being and the mother of her now step children. My gosh it is incredibly heartbreaking that the Cordova family does not see the children!!! I am no expert but what I have noticed is all these situations where the husband kills the wife the husband does not let the maternal grandparents see the children. It is crazy and to me a sign of guilt... it happens like almost every time. My first husband passed away very young and my 2 kids with him see his parents constantly... when I got married again my husband has 2 sets of in laws. This is how families with a clear consciousness work IMO. I have seen this in other families to where the wife has passed away too. What excuse would Levi have not for those children to see their grandparents.

I guess I am not very trusting cause I would not have married the dude if there was any chance that he had knocked off his first wife! There would always be a big question mark in my mind....did he really do it or not?

You are so right I mean even if there were the slightest question as a lei person I would wonder but especially as police officer where you see crazy stuff and have to teach yourself to be off duty and trust things for what they are. Some one said up thread that there seems to be something morally bankrupt or wrong with her and I totally agree.

Serna will in all probability use the searches for How to Kill Somebody as an excuse tied into Levi's job.

Probably right that was my first thought but this will have to be one an instance that the jury will have to use their brains and put this piece in the big picture.
