The cross won't take place until tomorrow at this rate. I have to work out of town tomorrow and will miss it. Maybe when I get back home everything will be finished and the jury will be back with a resounding guilty verdict.

You think serna will be done today? I don't know but I wonder if the state requested the rest of the day so that they could sleep on how they would question LC how the judge would like that. His head would probably explode.

WOW! I had to jump on here and comment about what just happened.
I'm obviously no judge, but if I had witnessed the prosecutors laughing or chuckling in MY courtroom [like the judge just stated he had witnessed himself], I would have called an immediate recess and dealt with the childish behavior BEFORE THE DEFENDANT POINTED IT OUT!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I've never seen anything like this trial!!

Ok yall, that little incident with LC saying that they--meaning McKay and Keener--were laughing and 'distracting' him shows just how shrewd and devious he is. He knew if he said it all hell would break loose and it did.

He's a slippery little $hit isn't he.

They mentioned it yesterday after Serna said he thought LC would testify today. McKay addressed the issue of having time to prepare a cross and his closing arguments and the judge mumbled something.
I hope they stop when Serna finishes today to give McKay all of tonight to get ready for his cross.

It's the judge, he's the most lame excuse for a judge on any level I've ever seen in my entire life. Everything that has been wrong in this trial should have been addressed and corrected by the judge weeks ago.
He should be voted off the bench or ever how judges are seated in NM.

That was one violent movie for back in those days. Not really that long ago 1989 (I had to look it up, but thought it was in the 80's). I really like Patrick Swayze! hmmm

Ok, now I'm drinking coffee, Dt. Mt. Dew and Coke. Each time that high pitched siren comes on it wakes my dogs. And they start barking and won't stop. We live such a small, peaceful little life around here.
I'm angry. If McKay doesn't do his job with this cross I think I'll explode. I am actually angry with McKay and Keener too. They should know better than to snicker and giggle, or out and out laugh, during any trial no matter who is testifying. I remember during the C. Anthony trial the same thing happened with Jose, who stopped in the middle of what he was doing, and said that Jeff Ashton was laughing at him. What's wrong with these highly educated and professional people.

I think Serna kept him up there way too long! I think his true colors were showing. I just hope the jury could see though him.

Are McKay and Keener trying to guarantee another CA outcome? I mean really, I'd call the a-h's too if they were snickering while my client was testifying (geez I hate agreeing with Serna lol). But honestly, these two need to grow up and behave properly in the courtroom, the jury notices these things.

Yes, I think he's nervous. And he doesn't stand a chance with this judge who is going to side with Serna on every objection Serna makes. I just hope McKay has the experience he needs to drag LC's rear through the gravel and smile while doing so. He MUST do a well executed cross because this is his only chance.
I think LC has a childlike innocence about him, can't quite describe it, but obviously it pulls women in, per all the girlfriends. Isn't the majority of the jury women? I am so confused. Anyhow, he has a boyish charm, with a touch of being naïve, that shows through when, in reality, it's all evil and disgusting. He knows exactly what's what.
