That comment by LC 'I missed the kids, and he caught himself, he almost forgot 'and I missed her too' gave me a look at the real person hiding behind the mask. How many times did he say how nice one of his lovers were? Five, six,seven? But he never gave Tera any redeeming qualities except I think he admitted she was a good mother. He had zero love or respect for his spouse.

I agree Tera may have lashed out and said she was going to kill herself. I think she was struggling emotionally and still loved Levi. I do think if she had attempted anything along the lines of harming herself, suicide, that the defense would have been all over that and we heard zip about any prior attempts. Why? IMO because the words were threats only.

I expect the state to present a cohesive argument showing the future plans Tera was making, the rebuilding of her ego by taking a lover, the recharging of her cell phone, and the planning (kids at grandparents, buying several bottles of cough medicine to knock her out, the ripped sorry note) and the brutality of shooting yourself in the mouth and blowing off the back of your head done by an uncaring, manipulative man.

BBM I know that comment was so very telling and then on the second re direct by Serna LC even started to imply that Tera was not such a good mother and started to have some kind of jealousy with her daughter and that is why LC wanted her to go to therapy. I was like WTF. I think LC is so disturbed that it was he who would encourage his daughter to wake up at 1 or 2 in the morning to greet him after work and if it were my daughter I would not want her to get in the habit of that because the sleep disruption is first unhealthy and second wrecks the kids for the whole next day in my experience. It was so ugly the way LC sounded when he talked about that. Tera was a good mom and wanted her daughter to sleep through the night and LC twisted it into something ugly.

I was watching the lawyers hammer out the jury instructions in the zimmerman case this morning......the defense had their instructions they had given to the state and the judge and the prosecution had theirs that they had prepared and given copies to the judge and defense.

So apparently that is how it is done and I never realized it! Both sides prepare what they want for jury instructions and then the judge works it out with both sides to one set of instructions.......who knew?

CJ I understand their need to relieve stress but coming into the courtroom. I would think they would be more respectful than to be carry on like we hear them.

I can see in the ER you would need to relieve some stress, how you could work under those conditions I can't even imagine. I admire people who take jobs like that.

I know what you mean because I have thought it is a disrespectful for the Cordova's because my lord this has been a crazy journey for them and they are so close to the end I would be going nuts and have to take a sedative every hour. Yesterday the judge said 10 am.

Levi must be nervous just like yesterday while on the stand. He drank a lot of water yesterday and I have noticed he has had several glasses today already.

I missed that testimony (I am at work). Wow. I bet the jury heard that and understood the lack of love or caring for his spouse. Making your little girl wake up to greet you is kind of creepy. Prosecution wants to call Joseph Cordova to the stand in rebuttle. There are 4 issues they want to cover. Something about insurance for the first child because the parents were miinors and the Cordova's were filing guardianship papers so they could provide insurance.....they have papers that Levi and Tera had signed for that to happen.

Something about credit card debt....proving Levi and Tera had debt.

Also something about Tera's ashes and how the Cordova's got them....Levi or none of the Chavez family provided them.....the APD did!

The other issue was about Tera's possessions.....the Cordova's did not get any of Tera's possessions. Levi says they did.

Rebuttal witnesses. The state wants to recall Joseph Cordova and if they get the chance Joseph is going to annihilate parts of LC's testimony yesterday. This ruling is so important bc I think if the state thought LC was going to testify they would have let JC be open to recall. OMG this is critical.

Oh yeah rebuttal is critical. Plus the state's crime scene investigator was left open for recall so there was definitely going to be a rebuttal.

Yes this is very important information to re-butt LC testimony. If the judge doesn't allow this he is biased. Ok so it is 5 and not 4 Serna, so what.

The judge will allow the guardianship, the ashes, and the possessions, but he does NOT want to allow in the credit card debt. The judge actually rolled his eyes when he mentioned the credit card debt......what is up with that!

Prosecution is arguing the credit card debt and quite well too.......oh no Serna sit down please!
