NM - Tera Chavez, 26, found dead in her Los Lunas home, 22 Oct 2007 - #1

First question: Did Mr. Chavez ask you if you wanted those two pieces of furniture that you and Tera did together.....no he did not...I would have picked them up in a heartbeat! There were pictures shown in court of the two pieces of furniture.

Prosecutor looking for something.......geez!

Why couldn't she have argued the largest portion of this case? McKay is just too smirky and hot and cold. At least her fire and determination are consistent.

These are the new documents about the daughters birth and being put on the Cordova's insurance so Serna gets to look at them.

serna taking another shot at allowing testimony in. DIDN'T THE JUDGE ALREADY DECIDE?????

Prosecutor standing behind defense table.....defense is looking at or reading something.

The galley is full again today....

Prosecutor gathering up papers and walking away from defense.

Now an approach to the judge....not sure who called it. (Serna has on a black suit with light strips....and med brown shoes)

All of the monitors in the courtroom have a purple glow to them, seems kind of strange.

I think the PT was setting the stage because establish the credibility with the furniture and this piece IMO is going to completely discredit LC. When I heard that yesterday about the furniture I thought NO WAY the Cordova's did not want that but this piece of it is IMO even bigger.

The state had these forms just moments ago when they argued about letting in this evidence. How did they lose them? Did they give them to serna and he claims he never got them?

Hell Yes!!!!!! Keener you go girl!!!! this is freakin huge. She is not backing down the state already ruled to let it in.

I wish McKay would quit smirking. It reminds me of that prosecutor in C Anthony's trial.

Court is now in recess......prosecutor said something about certified papers and they can have them in the courtroom within half an hour.........she said that in open court between the first approach and the second approach.....

This is new evidence because the state had no idea what exactly LC was going to say and then the problem when a defendant testifies then the state has to scramble for rebuttal to work with in business hours.

Yes but they were looking around for these papers. The same papers they held up to the judge and showed where Tera signed them to get her child covered. My gripe was the papers disappearing within 10 minutes.

Why did Serna object when she was going to question Mr. Cordova. Didn't he already look at the papers? or I thought he did?

Does McKay have people drop by work to say hi during his breaks? That guy really needs to take his job more seriously, or so it appears on camera.

Now there is a recess so the state can get these papers certified?

I think Serna has it figured out that if he whines enough he gets what he wants.....and this time the prosecutor is not backing down and the judge has to follow the law somewhat in the prosecution demands......

I thought Ms Keener was looking for the picture's of the furniture? Or I must have missed something else.

Prosecutor had already shown the pictures of the furniture.....it was the next issue she was digging for....the one she just had to argue in front of the judge to get the issues approved......LOL

Serna is going to have an uphill battle trying to discredit Mr Cordova. He is a solid witness. I believe every word he says. On the other hand Levi sweats, and fidgets, and has to touch his face all the time and looks down and away when telling a lie.

I read some articles about how stressful it is to lie. How the body betrays the liar in so many ways. I do agree that some people are simply nervous but in Levi's case he is calm and collected when questioned by his lawyer whereas I think a nervous person would be nervous regardless of who was questioning them. IMO
