Well I hope that if the jury finds LC guilty then at least the Cordova family can sue for some visitation with their grandchildren to try and re establish a relationship. This case is tragic on so many levels.

They started lunch soon, huh?

Does anyone know what the evidence was they asked for? There's a pic of an envelope being opened on KOAT's page but I have no clue what's in it.

I found a good news video that Anna V did that KOAT broadcast that gives some good insight into the jury and who they are and it actually scares me. No case is a slam dunk but this is far far from it and after watching this news story I feel like YIKES. I am mentally prepared for it to go either way. Please check it out and let me know what you all think.

I have a feeling this jury is not united or we would have had a verdict. I think it will be either Not Guilty or a Hung Jury. Call it intuition, this is just a gut feeling I have.

Now I really, really hope I am wrong. I feel LC is very capable of committing this crime. All imo

I have felt all along that a jury could take this case either way! I still feel that way! This case is not a slam dunk but there is a pile of evidence pointing to his guilt.....there is also a whole lot of emotional tug and pull by the defense on the jurors. The prosecutor proved that Mr. Chavez lied on the stand to the jurors in a couple of areas.....so I don't know whether the jurors will throw out all his testimony or just part of it. The proseuctor's rebuttle closing was the strongest thing in the entire trial and it is the last thing the jury heard.....so here is hoping they put the most faith in that actually being the truth of what happened........

Just my thoughts right now
Jewel53 that is what I am beginning to feel too. I started feeling that before I watched that news clip but that clip added more to my already gut feeling that was beginning to grow. I desperately hope I am wrong too. :please:
Thanks for your insight.

I missed most of trial....now listening to rebuttal closing. It was a 5 wk trial. Lots of evidence. I hope for guilty, I believe he killed her outright. Tired of her thought he was smarter than everyone else, much like Jason young did. Jmmho

I'm back and read through all the posts....was so hoping for a guilty verdict when I got back home. I am about to go to the link you provided CJ and watch that video but in reading your transcript of it, I am very anxious about this jury too.

Maybe the jury wanted to see a video?

The link to the article CJ sent didn't work with respect to going straight to the page but it did take me to the main page and I found the article by searching around a little bit.
There is a woman on Twitter--may be one of us?--'mama*of*3--who is determined he is guilty. I hope it's not one of us (although if it is that's fine) and she is the common voice for everybody who has followed this trial, especially the locals there. I hope her remarks are imitating how the jury feels.

Oh I hope they are not struggling.
