Well this is a fine how to do!......I missed the live feed after watching this thing all the way through.....and now I feel really crappy about the verdict! How I wish this wouldn't have been not guilty! And now I am sad for Tera's family....no justice for them today!

I'm really sorry you missed seeing it live Thundar, that must add another layer of frustration to this verdict. :(

I was unsure most of the way through (until I heard near the end that messages were deleted from her phone and his was missing), I sure feel awful about this, her family's hearts must be breaking all over again.

What are we going to do until the next trial Ladies?

Next week my dh and I will be babysitting our 2 1/2 yr old GD while dad and mom go to Aruba. She will be in daycare during the day thought, so I will be bored. We are staying at their house while they are gone, for GD convenience.

Hmm...that leaves us about 2 weeks before another begins? I'm sure we can think of some kind of deviltry to get up to.

I want to be where ever the rest of you all are!!!

Let me take this opportunity to say that I honestly feel that I have made good friends with you guys during this trial. I am sad, in some ways, to see it end. In the NC trials, there are so many divisive attitudes that it's difficult to bond with others on WS at times. I love you all....and don't leave me out of whatever the next trial is you all will be watching!!!

Me too, me too!! You all are awesome! Please let me know where we are headed next. I do plan to watch the Andrea Sneiderman trial, but that's not for a couple of weeks yet.

Oh, I'm just sick to think that LC will be celebrating tonight when he should be in a jail cell. Oh, and don't even get me started on Serna--no attorney has made me crazier!

Did yall see the KOAT video of LC walking out of the courtroom so confident and cocky. The media was trying to ask him questions and he never slowed down, his arrogance was shining brightly. Heather was not with him.

I don't know what the statute of limitations is on auto theft, but there is a chance LE may go back and charge LC with the theft of his truck, plus insurance fraud. Just a thought.

NCE I will feel the same way. Some of the other threads move so fast I can't keep up. I like these smaller trials where we can bond with each other.

I followed the biggest part of the Arias trial, but would have never posted. I would have got lost in the shuffle.

If we go to a bigger trial we will just have to take care of each other.

No, I had to turn it off because I was becoming nauseous. I did note that he was very "huggy" with everyone, but seemed to diss his wife a bit in all the jubilation.

No I shut if off after the verdict. I couldn't stand to see him or Serna again! I even closed out the website when the verdict was over.

Don't forget I think the Cordova's still have a civil suit against LC!

OT: Prosecutors plan to retry Durham novelist Mike Peterson in the 2001 death of his wife, sources tell WRAL News. The state Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld a lower court's ruling that Peterson is entitled to a new trial because of false testimony by a prosecution witness in his 2003 trial.

Absolutely, I will always have your back. It's been my pleasure getting to know you Jewels!
I remember on the CA thread, it was moving so fast I'd have to go forward 10 pages at the time just to keep up. I hope that makes sense. I didn't like it at all, even though most everybody on there was of the same mind set....just too many people and way too many posts.
These smaller trials with smaller groups on WS is like family.

I watched it on KOAT's regular news show. I had cut my footage of the courtroom too because it was killing me. I didn't even see Heather in the courtroom until all the hugging started and I think when I saw her that's what prompted me to shut it off.

That's right, there is still more of the civil suit to come.

Serna's good ole boy style may have won some jurors over but I honestly hope I never follow another trial in which he's a participant.
Saw on the KOAT site that one APD officers accidentally shot a fellow officer last night. I just burst out laughing when I read the headline. I'm so happy I don't have to depend on LE there for my safe-keeping.

I read that this morning and it made me happy. I was so afraid that because of his age they would just drop it. I sure hope the DA doesn't decide to do just that....he's guilty as heck and needs to get his butt back in the Nash County Correctional Facility.
