This one single thing has ticked me off more than any other. It is the most telling piece of evidence, IMO. This is the only missing child case I've ever seen, where there never was a plea. Not from KC, not from the As, not from anybody. They have known from "day one" that the nanny wasn't real, therefore, no plea to her, no search for her.

Isn't it the defense who keeps pushing the trial date back further? That's what I thought? I remember the prosecution said Sept and then JB tried to prolong even one month longer to Oct

You are right about that it isJB pushing it further then September. I am suggesting that IF they have everything with a true GREEN light go they should schedule the trial for tomorrow not September.
Having said that...I do know they have plenty on Casey, but they want this one PERFECT with no slippery hole.

I am not so sure she is describing herself especially since her hair is not long.
But maybe she did hear about that lady in the park???Hhmmmm?

This is not the first time I am reading about this woman in Blanchard Park in relation to Casey....It is starting to feel like maybe Casey did hear that story on the news and just copied on the discription....

WOW...What if she is told about this woman at the trial and suddenly Casey begins to recognize her.

The defense and Casey's family still believe in Casey and that she is innocent. If it were my daughter and I believed her, then #1 on my priorities list would be in FINDING ZANNY. So why doesn't the talk shows, media and attorneys during deposition ask:

1. What action plan do you have in place for finding Zanny?
2. What progress has been made?
3. Whom is actively looking for Zanny?
4. Tell us everything you know about Zanny and how can we help find her
5. Detail your efforts in finding Zanny
6. Detail ALL traces of Zanny when she was baby-sitting Caylee including phone records, check stubs, addresses etc. etc. etc.

Instead of appearing on talk-shows and Opera, they should be contacting America's Most Wanted and telling everything they know about Zanny and have the public help find her.

Does anyone have any information on what the family / defense has done to actively look for Zanny?

If there is NO EFFORT on their part in finding Zanny then why should anyone believe them, the defense or Casey. Then even worse, they are not helping Casey at all because they are trying to make the public look like blind fools and for this, Casey will pay the price!

Ok, but I would do more then answer a phone call relating to Zanny if my daughter was innocent. What is their 'find Zanny' action plan, what have they found and where are the details of their investigation.

If my daughter was innocent, I would have volumes and volumes of detailed notes, leads and a clear action-plan. I would be talking about finding Zanny day and night ...... my life's focus would be finding ZANNY.

Yes Chemaster, if I were to interview the Anthony's regarding the CMA Foundation they are trying to promote, I would ask the following questions:

1. Why are you spending valuable time, monetary contributions and media attention to defend your daughter and offer help to families of other missing children rather than directing those precious resources to locating Caylee's killer before any other family should suffer your same fate?

2. Doesn't it make more sense to focus all your energy on finding Caylee's killer BEFORE he/she strikes again rather than offer help to other families in locating any future potential victims?

Well, to me, that's the most mind boggling of all Anthony behaviors, except...what choice to they have?

The As can't make a plea to find the real killer because what can they say? "Uh, any Zenaidas out there, please come forward to get swabbed and printed, in the event that you're the Zenaida on which we can pin this murder."

KC, likely, has never given them beyond a vague description. They don't have pictures. They allegedly have contact information, which is very tricky, as the woman doesn't exist, I think KC gave them some fake information, and either they've been too afraid to be confronted with that and haven't called, or they have called, realized it's the number to a Miami Subs, or something, and can't admit it.

I'm sure they'd throw someone under the bus, but I think they're probably prideful people. They can't stand more than anyone else to be laughed at. There's nothing credible out there, and they know it. I think they want desperately to trust the defense team, and keep deferring to the trial because they hope beyond hope there will be a Perry Mason moment. Jose will stand up and say "I'd like to call Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez!" and the crowd will sit silent, riveted, as a '10' with evil eyes struts to the stand and hoists herself upon her own petard. "Yes! I killed Caylee and I'd do it again!" with a cackle as she's led in irons out the courthouse door. KC will cry and they'll hug and go home, where they watch videos of Caylee and all the money from their media lawsuits start rolling in. Nancy Grace (and the twins) comes over to apologize, and they have chili.

Instead, KC is cooked and they don't have Caylee. Life is undoubtedly dark. They have no leads but the leads that point directy at their daughter, and they know any attempt to pin it on someone new will either result in ridicule or lawsuit. They KNOW KC did it, but the same denial that had them flying to CA and driving to Gainesville and pasting pictures of random little girls all over the internet will keep that one little vestige of hope alive.

I'm not a big Anthony fan, but I understand the cluster they've gotten themselves into.

And yes, in a general sense, the lack of outcry from anyone involved in this case is beyond telling and will come back to bite them, just like everything else.

If she does not testify then how can HE tell us the truth of what REALLY happened? I don't get that at all. Sorry to wander off topic a bit...

And I totally get that, I do. And they should. I just wonder if their hesitancy to do that is borne out of their inability or unwillingness to answer follow-up questions. The "REAL killer" is ZFG. Unlike the mysterious Bushy-Haired Stranger, KC gave a name. Apparently, a description. To say "We need the REAL killer" is for them to be confronted with lie after lie after lie. To be asked "Why can't LE find anyone who said they met this woman?"

I think KC's biggest mistake in this coverup was concocting this story instead of pulling a Downs-esque BHS storyline. It's easier to come up with people who have met a white male, 5'9" to 6'O with dark hair and a beard. With or without a tattoo. Who is impotent.

Anyway, the ZFG story is too specific, it's too easy to find 50 people who have never seen or heard of her, and to mention the name will only bring them more civil suits.

I agree and also with posters who said why no plea for Juliette Lewis and Jeff H. to come forward and where is Zachary? These people would give KC credibility. Well we know the answer. Who in the heezy do they think they are fooling?
